You guys heard of Birdman and Young Thug trying to have Lil Wayne killed?
Yep.
I ain't even that surprised, tbh. Birdman has a history of dirty, underhanded shit.
I thought Birdman and Lil Wayne were an item tho? Is it some petty shit?

They were, but at the end of the day it seems Birdman favors money over any, and everything. One glimpse at the way the Hot Boyz went awry, Mannie Fresh packed his shit and went South (quite literally), and artist in general having a problem with the company, and it ain't hard to tell were Baby stands on the matter.
I loved that show especially how Joe Clowns Akademics in almost every debate.
I can't stand Akedemiks sometimes, he is the biggest Drake stand I've seen on YouTube. Granted Buden is a Stand of Drake but he knows where to draw the line.
I loved how he predicted DAMN would not make over 400,00 sales and then it proceeded to surpass More Life. Those push ups were golden
Yeah, I love the surprising chemistry between them...they both seem like they wouldn't get along enough to co-host...the two perspectives that they bring to discussions, it's funny to watch.
And, it was awesome watching Ak do those push-ups...

I have no clue why he would bet DAMN A KENDRICK LAMAR ALBUM would sell under 400,000 copies. And the list of "Classics" he named were really just decent albums other than MBDTF.
@just_banter: Shizzy Sixx? Didn't know he was still alive. Lmao, you know what happened to his videos?
@necronn-: Stopped doing anime raps, and then the time between the releases of his normal tracks starting getting longer and longer. This was 3 months or so ago, so he's still doing stuff.
It's complete fire as well.

I mean his comedy videos. I thought he was funny as hell. The only one still up is his 9/11 story.
@necronn-: Only ever watched his anime ones tbh. I didn't even know he did comedy videos
So, if we had to rename this melody-focused, vibe-based, new style of rap (mumble rap) into its own legitimate genre...what should we name it.....
@beast_mode999: Well, we know Ak stans Drake hard, and K.Dot isn't Drake. So, of course he wouldn't full those big numbers...lol

LOL, this song is awesome.....
=====================================================
On a side note, I feel like we're witnessing the development of a new musical genre. Modern hip hop artist are kind of moving this 'mumble rap' sound into a new direction. In hindsight, I think we may be witnessing a exodus from hip hop and into a new area...

Anyone in this thread onto Stormzy? Not a grime guy myself but the big man Stormz is class
He is extremely popular in the U.K right now. I started off on a Grime wave in my early teens, I went U.S side and now I'm coming back into it a bit. I think Stormzy is nice, but some of it is right place right time, and Shut Up just blew up.
I am a pretty big fan of Wiley tbh. I thought the Godfather was an excellent album and I also dig alot of his older projects. Very close behind is someone called President T, who in Grime terms is something very different (A northern, midlands inflextion, slower more delibrate rhymes, laced with punchlines). I first heard him on Joe Bloggs off the Godfather actually and have been bumping his music ever since.
I also like JME (Seen him). Big Narstie, Delvin (Espicially in the past), Ghetts (Seen him), Proff Green (Seen him) and a few others.
Oddisee got da beats:

Mah boi deserves some attention
UK Drill is exploding right now, any of you guys listened to some?
Yea Giggs mostly. And contray to popular belief, that Roadman shaq song is a drill song, rather than a Grime song.

Eminem is dropping a new album
The fact that it does feature Yelawulf, any of Slaughterhouse or his new signees is beyond disappointing. In fact that track list is disappointing as heck too. Let's hope this double disc theory is true
That Tracklist For Eminem's Revival Looks Terrible. It Better Be A Double Disc Album Otherwise I Will Skip This Crap. I Mean His First Single "Walk On Water" Was Such A Lackluster Track IMO. Sort Of Let Me Down With Slim Shady.

Yea. None of the features wowed me. Ngl it seems a little pop rappy, nothing inherently wrong with that, but yea......
