Superheros in the New 52 have been known of for a period exceeding 5 years, upwards toward 7 likely less than 10. Batman, however, operated as an urban legend, and took on his first Robin, preteen/teenaged Dick, shortly before being confirmed to exist by the Apokolips invasion, between 10 and 5 years ago. During which time, his cowl had hints of dark blue. Prior to that, it consisted of an variation black cowl and short purple gloves as during the fine tuning of his identity. Encounters with terrified citizens and Grayson's behast led to the alteration of the, if you will, Year One costume. The "removable sticker" logo was a detachable chestpiece, as the costume was still advancing. He was not with the League for the daytime press conference following the invasion. Once outed and in collaboration with the GCPD spotlight, his logo became a black bat in a yellow elipse. Flashbacks show this costume. Dick also took a more active role following Batman's reveal (he couldn't allow a bright colored boy to be around him at all times). Dick had several encounters with the League, especially Cyborg, with whom he occasionally operated with alongside teenaged Roy and Kori'ander, and notably Superman, who was childhood hero. At some point, Roy became a perscription drug addict. Batman adopted a second Robin, Jason, who was much more reckless. Batman would become a darker hero once again after the death Jason, and fittingly replaced the gray off his costume with black and extended the ears of the cowl. Flashbacks show this costume, as well. This change and erratic behavoir prompted Tim to stepup. At some point the KnightFell. Later Batman returned to a black cowl and grey bodysuit, after a catyclysmic event in Gotham. Eventually, the Knight met his Son, danced with the Devil, his sons Battled, and he took a Road Home. Dick and Damian filled in, with Dick wearing a dark blue tinted cowl, grey body suit, intrinscic belt and altered gauntlets. He kept the gauntlets following his return to Nightwing.

Dick does not wear red. And superhero's never wore briefs, Morrisson.

The staff at DC Comics is regularly given death threats from Superman Prime, and sometimes they publish his fan theories and ideas, out of fear for their lives.

In the Adventure Time universe, Ooo was invented by the imagination of Simon Petrikov to entertain Marceline during the war... His inspiration was the Enchiridion he unearthed, since he happened to be the one who originally found it. That could explain why some episodes have moral endings, and why the plot of some episodes becomes more realistic / complex as it goes on; since Marceline was becoming mature enough to understand them herself as time passes by... Simon could also be trying to see himself in the most harmless light he could imagine as well, trying to make himself to be a joke character because his slipping sanity worries him...

Or maybe; part of his imaginative stories could come from the hallucinations he sees with his "Wizard Eyes", since he wants to interpret them into stories to entertain Marceline, so she won't become too worried about him.

And the Princesses? Maybe they could be characters he invented he built off of personality traits Betty had, or from others he might've cared about in the past.

Another Batman headcannon: Most of the costumed criminals in Gotham came from other cities and towns to make a living, because the laws there are easier to slip passed, and they've never updated any laws outlining of the legal definition of criminal insanity.

Ezio stabbed Savonarolla in the face not because of a quick death, but to avenge his girlfriend Christina who died in the Bonfire of Vanities.

The legend of Phoenixes came about from Time Lord influence; particularly how they light up with bursts of energy when renewing their life in a new body.

Santa Claus at one point considered handing out Rob Liefield art out to the naughtiest children. However, he had a change of heart before doing so, because at least coal can be put to some practical use.

Doctor Octopus isn't actually possessing Peter's body it's an AI he created to fake his death while he is actually in hiding.

Guile is actually in an insane asylum and Street fighter is a tournament in his head.

The Dragonborn could quite easily take over the Empire after the game's events by completing the Dark Brotherhood questline, killing Amaund Motierre after the Emperor to create a power vacuum right at the top; side with the Empire against the Stormcloaks so they still have some infrastructure to start with preparing for inevitable war with the Thalmor; either kill Paarthurnax to gain the support of the Blades (historically protectors of the Emperor) or simply declare him/herself to be Dragonborn (starting a new bloodline like Tiber Septim and all) with the Greybeards' blessing and swoop in.

I never played it but I heard it breaks a lot of cannon and has other inaccuracies. I remember seeing a video online where Starkiller fights and kills Han Solo.
