The Berserk thread

The question isn't why is the thread being created, the question is why aren't there several threads for this (albeit they'd be locked). With the resuming of monthly release of one of the - if not the - greatest manga of all times, there should be a place for it's discussions.

Feel free to discuss anything from any arc, any questions/answers, adaptations, future directions, and of course, whether the series will ever be completed or not. Cheers?

All I can say is hopefully the writer isn't sick anymore, I want him to finish the manga even if it's rushed. I'm not looking for another Guin Saga.

Its just what I need to get me into reading again. I haven't picked up a comic or manga in a year ._.

He wasn't sick, he was bored from overwork. Took a break, worked on a different series, and now he's back.

I'm done reading all of Berserk... OR SO I THOUGHT WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN WHEN I STARTED READING IT. Come onnn, Berserk has been going for 25 years now and it's still not finished! When can I expect this to end? 2045?

At the rate it's going looks like ol' Kentaro Miura just can't get enough of playing Idolmaster. Till he's done getting his fix from that game I wouldn't expect it to finish within our lifetime or his. lol

Annonyed. There's was no reason, beside manufacturing conflict, for Erika to go down into the fray of the fight. It's not like Rickett was in any immediate harm. This was just a lame ploy to extend this fight. That said I'm still quite impressive with Rickett's performance.

@thatguywithheadphones: Same. Incredibly disappointing moment, how were four of them unable to stop a kid from running straight into a deadly battle, not to mention how stupid the kid has to be to run there. Lazy writing is lazy.

As for rickert, I never paid any attention to him, till that slap. Big fan since then. :D

Rakshas, on the other hand, is one of the most interesting characters in the series.

During that 10 month hiatus, I think I started and caught up to it at least three times lol

Last chapter thoughts? Honestly, I feel Erika. She's flawed like most people, sure she didn't need to immediately run down there, but we can't forget all she passed through her last months, she probably feels protective of Rickert for all his help. They've been together for quite some time, after all.

That fight isn't actually lengthened, it has been going on for two issues and will end in a third (most likely). I'm only pissed that they keep hinting at Guts, but he just won't appear again lol Tbh, if they didn't hint at it that much it'd be okay. It's a goddamn monthly series, after all, stuff can't be rushed otherwise it'll lose all the pace it has set up thus far.

My thoughts/predictions for next issue: Either Rickert saves her and someone of the arab team dies, or he just goes full heroic and gets killed while saving Erika.

Skull knight: His past: relation with the god hand. Rivalry with void and zodd.

Griffith/Femto: What is he planning to do now? Not just.. be, I hope.

The child: What exactly is it now? He seems protective of casca, and has potential to be a very powerful.

Rakshas: I can't place it, but he seems to have some significant role somewhere in the future. Or maybe not.

@princearagorn1: Rakshas is the only interesting part of this chapter .

I feel like it has been forever since we have seen Guts, and this side story is already wearing on me and it's only been a few chapters .

I have just started reading the chapters not to long ago. But just watching the one season of the anime I am a big fan.It is now one of my favorite animes second only to naruto which if they add more seasons they could probably pass.
