Scottish indie band. Did the Powerpuff Girls theme. Been one of my fave bands since I was about 11 or something :/ You will love them or hate them most likely <3

Someone Still Loves You, Boris Yeltsin is upbeat in a non-annoying way. You have a lot of 90s postpunk sensibilities, so you might cotton to The Polyphonic Spree. If all else fails, there's always David Bowie.

@joygirl: We have a lot of the same favorite bands I can see from the OP. Hope ya like.

@irishx: I actually was aware of Lunachicks (I love their cover of The Passenger) but their sound never took hold on me. That song, though, I liked, and I'm adding it to my playlist. May have to give them another shot. Once I get to six-seven songs I dig and can regularly listen to I consider the band to be one I "like".

@emequious_swerve: First one had a good sound but when I listen to instrumental it's not that kind of music, so I'm scratching it off.

Second two I really dug, adding to hopefuls (that is actually an important thing, if you watch the OP my list of hopefuls and bands I like is in regular flux)

@joygirl: Very cool. Like I said we have some same favorites and I was glad to see Flogging Molly & Big Bad Voodoo Daddy especially. I'll be seeing BBVD for a 5th time in December. Can't wait!

Check out Bohren & Der Club of Gore, they play some amazing dark jazz that's like the perfect soundtrack for a noir movie. Perfect mood setting music. It's like the exact right slow tempo to just put on on let your imagination wander.
