Pro Choice for me
Political Vibe: What is your view on abortion?
Undecided but overpopulation beign what it is I'm leaning towards pro choice, sure abortion if baby/fetus killing but what's a little fetus killing among all this other crap in the world and besides it's the woman that will live with the choice she has made.
Abortion is cruel to the child. Think about it: if a cell is alive, and the baby starts as, what, two cells, then isn't the baby alive?

In the window when abortion is legal. There is no child.
Pro Choice..men want abortions too(no one EVER brings it up)
It is not a man who has an abortion.
@mrdecepticonleader: you serious?
ok, no they don't but once a child is their they are a father. yes woman do have birth or abort but without the man there is none of that.
lets just say you moved in with a gal splitting things 50/50. a puppy runs into your home, isn't keeping it a 50/50 decision?

Yes I am. Deadly.
Its a woman's body not a man's. The couple can discuss it and how they want to go about having a child. But at the end of the day its a woman's choice and responsibly to have that child or not. Just as it should be the man's decision to choose weather they want to be a father or not.
Abortion is murder, plain and simple. For the ones saying that it's the woman's body, if she didn't want the bastard to be the father of her child, why did she drop her panties for him?

You ever heard of rape?
The actually procedure and act disgust me, but I respects a woman's right to choose, because I doubt it's a just a simple decision.

How is it murder?
@pyrogram: why wud u hurt the poor baby for it though?
@jointron33: I'm not dignifying that with a proper response.
I don't support it unless the woman was raped or was under 18 and will die
If they can't support it they can put it up for adoption ( And I know its not that simple, not trying to make it sound that way )
Other than that, they should have not had ( unprotected ) sex.
Imho

Sometimes people get pregnant when even having protected sex.
Also, it should be apart of the man's choice to if he cares.
I mean the wife shouldn't be able to kill the mans child if he wants to keep it. But it is the woman's body, so I'm kinda conflicted
Pro choice until the later stages where the baby is mostly formed. From that point only if it's necessary for the health of the mother.
@mrdecepticonleader: I know, and thats another place where I'm conflicted.
It would be a wonderful world if life were as black and white as some people make it out to be. The sad reality is that things in life are vastly complex, and it is not up to anyone who isn't familiar with a certain situation to pass judgement or even begin to form an opinion on it.
In a world where abortion can be the most selfish act imaginable and in other cases the most responsible thing a person can do, it shouldn't be this easy to sit at your desk, with the warm glow of your monitor illuminating your face, and type out "abortion is this" or "abortion is that."
Activists always use the word "murder" as an instrument of fear, and people always fall for it. Abortion isn't murder. In some cases it is extremely unfair, as it eliminates a certain possible potential, but it isn't murder. This is the same tactic that vegans use while spreading their propaganda, "Meat is murder."
The real issue with abortion is that it would have to be looked upon on a case by case basis, without comparing it to other situations to be able to truly determine whether or not it is called for. This is a problem because most people that have strong opinions on abortion have never met a person in this situation and simply because of the large numbers that have to be dealt with. So, what do you do then? You generalize the situation, and take the best examples possible to try to swing any argument in your favor.
For example, someone says "But abortion is fair for someone in X situation." and instantly someone jumps out, "But, there's been cases where people in a similar situation have had the baby and everything turned out fine." The problem with this logic is that life is unfair, and just because a minority of people seem to fall in the best scenario possible, within reason, most people don't.

Hmm okay.
