@queen_marceline: The main reason is the difference between console and pc. Some buffs and some nerfs don't need to be on console but need to be on computer. For example, the Widowmaker nerf wasn't needed on console because it is a lot harder to aim on console than it is on pc and with the buff to D.VA, widowmaker is basically no longer in the meta on console.
Another reason is the lack of maps and game types. It gets pretty bland. Plus, the limited number of maps makes it even worse.
Sure, there are 22-23 characters on Overwatch, but once you've played all of them, they get boring unless you become competitive. It lacks the staying power a mobaesque game should have. It might not be that way once they get more heroes, but as of right now, I could play Smite for free when it has up to 70+ characters and still growing and get more gameplay out of that than I ever could Overwatch.
