Official Manga/Anime Thread

Ok this is Comic Vines Official Manga/Anime Thread, feel free to talk about anything Manga/Anime related. What your currently reading, what your currently watching, what your all time fav shows/books are, What your looking forward to, Want some recommendations well heres the thread for you.

Watching: Currently I'm watching Fullmetal Alchemist:Brotherhood thanks to the recommendation by @FoxxFireArt and it is, quite simply, awesome. I wish Square Enix would make a Fullmetal RPG game smiler to Final Fantasy or Deus Ex: HR, come on guys you know you want to!!!

Reading: Another great recommendation, this time from @ReVamp when asking for some manga recommendations after telling him what I had already read and enjoyed Revamp suggested Death Note and I must say, I'v not been disappointed yet. It takes a few issues to settle but when it does it gets real good.

Just got finished watching Soul Eater a few weeks ago.

@ReVamp suggested I watch Sword Art Online

It's been pretty good so far

@Jonny_Anonymous : It was pretty good at the start. Got meh to me for a while. Then I liked it again after they introduced a certain character.

I feel like I wan't to start watching Bleach again. Last time I watched they were just entering Hueco Mundo..

Bleach seems to be the most popular, not sure if I'd like it though

Anyone watch Steins Gate? it takes a while to get good but when it gets good it's excellent :P

@Jonny_Anonymous: Then you should read the FMA manga and watch the Death Note anime... trust me it's just THAT good.

Bleach is one of those that got me into anime that I slowly lost interest in. Maybe I'll start watching Naruto again too.

I might check out Bleach at some point, something I hate though is One Piece

@Jonny_Anonymous FMA Brotherhood is good not better than Cowboy Bebop though in my opinion :P. Have you watched it? Steins Gate is great but you need to have patience for the first few episodes :P.

Currently watching Accel World, Eureka Seven: Ao, Saint Seiya Omega, Sword Art Online and La storia della Arcana Famiglia. Just finished watching Puella Magi Madoka Magica, which was a pleasant surprise I must say.

Why is it that manga is considered an Off Topic when it's just comics from Japan. The only people that separate to two are Westerners. Aren't comics still comics when they're translated into other languages?

If these were comics made in France would people still consider them Off Topic?

@KnightRise: If this was done 3-4 years ago, I would have been ok with it but now it hard to make sense of a failed genin within one year, was able to fight with the 4th hokage.

@ComicMan24 that was great scene also enjoyed the scene where Claire Stanfield and Rachel are talking.

I'm thinking of watching Fate/Zero has anyone watched it yet? is it any good?

@Irishlad:Fate/Zero was one of my favourites this season. Very good one and way superior to Fate/Stay night.

@ComicMan24 I know Fate/Zero is a prequel but would you say Fate/Stay night should be what I watch first in order to pick up on things?

Or is it safe to just start with Fate/Zero?

Also around the table what's an Anime you think was cut short too quick and should be continued? If so what would you like to see happen?

@Irishlad:Nah, you can watch Fate/Zero first. Did that too and had no problem picking up things.

On the top of my head, Pandora Hearts. Too many things left unanswered.

Sket Dance is pretty cool. I'm going to have to dig into the Manga though, it seems to be the superior format.

Simple. Because Whiskey Media used to have a site specific for Manga/Anime and I think that of all people I don't have to explain that to you, lol.

Exactly, and he has no reason to hate existence that much; he died as a hero, why come back so blood thirsty because one girl died in war? I'm still skeptical if its 'the real Obito", mostly because he wouldn't have been alive/old enough to have had influenced Yahiko to found Akatsuki or control the Hidden Mist for years, or physically large enough when he appeared during the nine tails attack.

Not be a generic "OMFG N4RUTO SUX" hater, but I genuinely believe Kishimoto ran out of good ideas right about when the War began. I mean, we're not talking Kubo-level things, but still, lol.

Honestly while Sword of the Stranger had great animation, it could do much better in the story department.
