I need. Skilled writer who understands their character
In what way? I'm a skilled writer. Not so much sure on what you're asking though.
I'd be interested in giving some insight though.
Well that depends on where your story is going. Shoot me some thoughts, and I can see what I can up with if you like.
@sinntek1: im looking for a skilled writer who understands batman and joker
Im a skilled writer myself, but i don't understand batman or jokers motives
@rd189: pretty much theres gonna be a "is killing ever right debate " between batman, joker, and jason
@midnightdragon18: Ahhhh. I see several possibilities with that theme. Like how much it would take for Bats to break the "one rule" and so forth. Good choice.

Well feel free to ask some questions.
Joker motives? That's the problem, you have to understand him as someone without motives. He just does it. His main motivation if I recall was just to get Batman's attention and be a troll.
Batman's motives? Vengeance. His parent's were killed. He has a lot of fears. Only way I can think to explain him, of course people see him all awesome and brooding but deep down, I like to imagine him as still being that child who saw his parents being killed.
@sinntek1: iirc didn't jokers origin change in the new52?
He was just A mental patient right ?

Haven't read his origin yet. N52 origin anyways.
Joker has never really had a canon origin outside of possibly Killing Joke.
I'd honestly say a few good ways to get a grasp on Joker would be to read Killing Joke, and / or watch the Batman Animated Series.
For a good understanding of Batman, I always recommend Year One.
@sinntek1: saw those both a my college library,I'll be sure to pick them up

Definitely recommend it.
Another good one for Batman is the beginning of Death of The Family. It goes pretty deep into his psyche and shows how he is still kind of that little kid.
