My movie critics and popular opinions some movie get the short end of the stick. But sometimes movie of your taste are not as bad as the other people would think. So name a movie that was not as bad bad as a fellow viewer would think.

Spider-man 3:This movie wasn't really that good( I actually haven't seen this movie in years), But not bad in most ways. Yes the emo/Saturday Night Fever was a bit too much but I can a least say the action scenes kept me entertained .

I liked Superman Return. If I blot out the scenes with Lex Luthor and disregard the love child, it was a pretty decent representation of Superman and his abilities. Brandon Routh, to me, was a very convincing Superman.

I agree, except that I think Lex Luthor made that movie. Kevin Spacey was the best live action Lex, in my opinion.

I like Spacey as an actor but his performance as Lex Luthor was forgettable. Maybe it was the script but his version of Lex came off as more of you're typical villain than "the greatest criminal genius of our time". Hackman's Lex was more of a threat to the world than the Krypronite continent that was created by the other Lex.

  • Green Lantern- While it wasn't especially great, I found it fun and enjoyable.
  • The Matrix Reloaded- Although it went downhill from the first film, I think people give it too much hate. I
  • The Dark Knight Rises- While this isn't really considered "bad" I think it is hugely underrated. It was my favorite of the trilogy, and engrossed me more than the other two (although they were really good too).

I'd disagree with that. The Dark Knight Rises won critical acclaim, most that I've come across rank it above the first instalment in the trilogy. It still gathered an 8.6/10 on IMDb (#45 on top 250), 87% on Rotten Tomatoes (92% audience) and a 9.0/10 on IGN.

Some would considered The Dark Knight Rises to be overrated, due to it's high ratings on other movie-database websites and critic opinions. It's gathered it's haters, but so did Batman Begins if I remember correctly.

  1. Waterworld
  2. Exorcist 3 (Completely shadowed by the first Exorcist movie's popularity.)
  3. King Arthur
  4. The Passion of the Christ (most negative opinion comes from religious perspectives. The movie itself is quite good.)
  5. Identity (2003)
  6. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005)
  7. Shutter Island

The Avengers get's trashed on IMDb, IGN forums, YouTube, etc. It's ridiculous, and Batman Begins, well most that I've seen list it as the weakest of the TDK trilogy and therefore assume it's a terrible movie. But that's not necessarily true.

Haters are motivators lol. I'm more so referring to the Viners people in general that regurgitate complaints about Bane's voice and "plotholes".

LOL. True, but some of these ''plot-holes'' really annoy me. Considering most have been debunked and many aren't even plot-holes.

Ooh, this is my first time commenting here on the forums. Good topic.

Aside from Storm looking like a black gender-bent Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy, I didn't think X-Men: The Last Stand was completely terrible (though I can see why a lot of people don't like it). At least it spared me from emo Spidey (Spider-Man 3) and Will.I.Am. (X-Men Origins: Wolverine). I also liked The A-Team, The Losers, and both T3 and Terminator Salvation.

Godfather 3 - Incest aside, I think the only reason people call it "bad" is because it wasn't as good as the first two. But on its own, it was still a good mafia flick.

Pearl Harbor - I liked it a lot! Screw historical accuracy. Braveheart and Gladiator both won Oscars yet both shat on historicity.

Superman Returns - Was a letdown but still not the worst Superman ever.

Green Lantern - Again, a letdown. But was a good watch. Not epic but a popcorn flick.

Street Fighter - Yes it was bad. But was the "so bad it was good" kinda bad. I love watching it over and over. Same goes with MK.

the transformers movies : even if the 3rd one kinda dragged on

daredevil - it was actually pretty good, it got a lot of hate and yet no sequels but we got two ghost rider movies , which i do not understand .lol

batman forever: it had an interesting bad guy plot : use tv as a way to absorb all types of knowledge from the unsuspecting citizens of gotham , the villains are two face and riddler , who i can see two-face was a little too silly (i like the character dark not as silly as he was portrayed) , the debut of robin for that generation, an all-star cast (for its time :p) ,

maybe if two-face was put on the back burner and they brought in hugo strange , it could have been a interesting movie . two villains who seek knowledge (eventually turning on each other) absorb the knowledge and deepest darkest secrets of all of gotham with plans on the rest of the country/world can only be stopped by batman and robin. if anything we got one of the best love songs out of it so the movie had potential lol

Green Lantern is the poster-child for this thread.

Was it the best movie ever? No, but it was a far, far cry from the worst.

Green Lantern was indeed bad but not as much as others say and also Sucker Punch which was hated by a lot of people.
