We've all seen something in a movie or a tv show that's just so bad or stupid it makes us want to cry or scream, maybe both. Sometimes they're so bad they're funny, other times it's just...bad.
Here's a couple of mine:
What are some of yours?
@africanwilds: I haven't seen Lion King 2, is it anywhere close to the original?
@arcus: Don't really remember, but I seriously doubt it (Lion King is by far #1 Disney animated film OAT, IMO). I just remember that awful musical number when the black-maned Lion gets banished.
Any SW film after the third one.
The live action Spiderman and Hulk shows.
anything "Idol".
Lost Girl and all bimbo-istic crap like it.
@jugjugbanks: there were live action Hulk and Spider-Man shows?
@hopeonfire: oh boy
@jugjugbanks: I loved those shows as a kid.
Anywho: During the killing season 3 when underage girls are repeatedly shown having sex and giving head to older men. EWWWWWWWHHH.
Any show on any kids channel today
Simpsons, Family Guy, anything like those shows
Transformers movies
I cringed a lot during MoS
@ryagan: wasn't as bad as SM 3 but yeah ... Still bad.
@life_without_progress: Nah, I think TASM2 was worse. Way worse.
@arcus: Really? The awful script? Max Dillon's lonely birthday party? The song that played during the first fight between Electro and Spider-Man? The awkward interactions between Peter and Harry? Here's the thing with emo Peter: emo Peter is supposed to make you cringe. We're not supposed to like that he's wearing the symbiote, and that's why that scene makes us cringe so much. It's supposed to. The cringe-worthy parts in TASM2? Pretty sure they weren't cringe-worthy on purpose.

They maybe weren't ideal, but I didn't mind them that much (Peter and Harry's interactions were pretty awkward though). I get that emo Peter was supposed to make you cringe, but still...it didn't even feel sinister or threatening or anything it was just incredibly uncomfortable. And the rest of SM3 didn't really do much to make up for it
