I really didn't like the writing and I found myself laughing at parts I really shouldn't. 'I see you.  I see you'  Still cracks me up.
Also when one of them died and their crying/in pain scream thing at a really emotional point really sounded weird.

300 the first time I saw it I thought it was ok the 2nd time I was like wtf and turned it off.

It is overrated. However I respect the production of it. Well done to them. Around $15-20,000 buget and they grossed around $250 million. Gotta have some respect for that. "

Both are about about a Soldier that had constact with the natives in a foregin land and their contries want an element from that place, but at the end that soldier learns about the natives and the nature about the place, and that his countries would destroy all in that place just for that element. I've said before that I think Citizen Kane is vastly overrated. I also think The Godfather, parts I and II are overrated. Dr. Strangelove isn't that funny, neither is Animal House. Also overrated: 2001: A Space Odyssey, pretty much anything by Martin Scorsese.
Not that I think all this stuff is terrible, I just don't think they're as mind-blowingly awesome as everyone tells me they are.

I don't get the avatar hate. Seems everyone is singling it out for having an unoriginal plot when... NEWS FLASH... every story archetype has been done to death before. I saw it when it came out and I liked it well enough. It can't be overrated if 90% of the internet gets a hate-on for it, at this point it might be underrated.

Super Troopers. It has its moments, but overall, it's just not a good/funny movie. I will never understand why people like it so much.
