Most Heart Breaking death in Harry Potter.....Spoilers...duh
Fred. It was really heartbreaking to separate the twins, I was not hit that hard by any other death. Any other brother would have worked T_T
Followed by dobby, he was just too innocent to die... kill kreacher, damn it.
Sirius's death hurt, too. It was a tragic ending to a tragic life... I am surprised he's not mentioned more here.
@the_stegman: yeah. THAT was effed up. HE was a good elf
I feel like Fred's death was pointless. It was barely even touched on, and didn't contribute anything to the story. Had it have happened sooner in the book, it could have been more meaningful. Instead J.K. Rawlings basically wrote "Oh ya, by the way, remember the fan favorite character Fred? He's dead. Now moving on..". Lame!
I think very highly of JK Rawlings as a writer, and Fred's cheap death is probably my only real complaint of the series, but it's a big one.
The most moving death was definitely Dumbledore. We all saw it coming, for the entire book pretty much, but that made it so much worst. Knowing it will happen, and dreading it, but then just before he dies, we get the smallest sliver of hope that he will actually live because Malfoy couldn't kill him, and then "bam!", he's dead anyways. Damn. That's a heartbreaker right there.
@cpt_nice: Everyone likes dobby you heartless wretch
Dobby's death got to me and I am nowhere near an avid Potter fan. That one was just well done and very effective. Still dont understand why he needed to die but it certainly worked.
And Snape of course.
@princearagorn1: :(
No one cares about Hedwig
GTFO.
No one cares about Hedwig
GTFO.
Knee jerk reaction much?
If someone had mentioned Hedwig before my post than my comment could be derogatory. As is I'm pointing out that no one seemed to care about Hedwig's death. There are no posts before my original post or this one in regards to the most senseless and unfortunate death if you ask me.
