Thanks ;) oh and Injustice in a way because of how it ended, Superman in lock up and that whole story was just depressing starting with how Joker fooled Superman. Thought that was really messed up in away.

16 high-school students, who each has a "ultimate talent" has been invited to study in the Hope's Peak Academy, a very prestigious school. But now they find themselves unable to leave, since a miniature robot-bear named Monokuma has declared himself principal of what is going to be a school of mutual killing.
The students are now doomed to live in the school for the rest of their life, unless they kill someone. But they cant be caught in doing so, because a trial will be held afterward where the students must find the guilty among themselves. If they selects the real killer, he/she will be executed by Monokuma. If they are wrong, everyone but the killer will get axed, and the killer is free to go.

Yep, he is the black and white bear. And believe me, he is ANYTHING but cute! He he is rude, keeps calling all the students bastards, and he execute them in many gruesome ways.
Only heard about Persona, will check it out if given the chance.
Depends, The Walking Dead game was the most depressing game because of how attached I was to the characters. ME3 was incredibly depressing as well though when I realized the final game wasn't even worth a purchase.
Red dead redemption and turning point. .. turning point was a ww2 game for ps3 way back... the protagonist dies at the end, trying to diffuse an atomic bomb
Bio shock infinite. the other two made sense. The writers of Bioshock just shat the bed and realized they didn't know how they wanted it to end. so they just crapped out the worst ending possible just to give it something. I don't even consider it an ending just a place where it should continue and doesn't cause the writers forgot what they wanted to do.

So many bloody spoilers in here, I scrolled down the page with my eye's closed, anyway can't think of an end that was sad. Maybe I'll go with Fallout 3, end of an awesome game and it was sad that your main character died, that is if you chose the good side. I can think of a sad start to a game, Sarge's war pretty much all of the good hero's die at the very beginning, and you're all that is left.
I still think its the bad ending to Danganronpa that to me is the most depressing, but the ending to Limbo was pretty depressing too... I think... the end is not that clear, really.

No that only happens if you didn't buy the broken steel DLC. If you did however you wind up waking up in the BoS's fort where Elder Lyons had them recover you and his daughter or you can choose to have Fawkes go instead(which you would have to be good to have him)..So yeah no DLC=yes that ending occurs. Besides one can't really complain about spoilers in a thread which obviously implies that people are going to be discussing about endings
