He SHOULD be in prison where he can learn what sexual assault is all about.
Man rapes girlfriend repeatedly, gets a suspended sentence.

If they were a sexually active couple i, in all honesty don't see a problem that i would equate to rape in this story. People throw that word around way too lightly. Especially if she only brought it up after the break up because she didn't believe she was raped until they broke up. This is her vendetta.
Yeah. She likes him enough to let him sleep in the same bed but he is not allowed to touch her..
I read another story about a lady who was raped by a guy she took an innocent shower with. He had already made it clear he wanted to have sex. She wasn't into that, but she agreed to shower with him butt naked.
I understand that if a woman says no then that's the bottom line, but does that mean she should do everything that would indicate consent to a sane person?
This is very simple. (To include the shower incident...yes I've taken a shower with a woman who didn't intend sex, and didn't get pissed when we didn't have it). Just because you have CONSENTING sex with someone on a regular basis, does NOT give them the right to have sex with you when ever they FEEL like it. If she slept through it, was medicated, even NOT medicated...she didn't give consent...it's just that simple. If a woman is naked with you in a shower, says she doesn't want to have sex with you, and you get in the shower, or STAY in the shower, that's on YOU. Be a damn man about it. If a woman is playing games with you, either stop playing the game or stop bitching, be..a...man. You can not like her anymore, fine, but don't blame someone else for YOUR actions.
The person (he is NOT a man) in question raped her. He SAID he raped her. Admitted he did it while she was medicated. Admitted he did it without her knowing he did it, or her consent, there IS no middle ground here.

^ this. My own wife who gets all hot and bother, but then loses the mood tells me just do what i need to while she sleeps. Turn off, but nice of her regardless.
Either way, if your a sexually active couple, groping your loves ones ass, or nips is as bad as cuddling naked together. This story is dumb, and this sounds more like a piss of girlfriend, and a idiot guy who has no clue what rape really is either.
I have to confess that what baffles me about this... is that she slept through a year of this.
Not even a year supply of roofies would account for this lol.
Yeah that guy deserves jail time. It says the chick attempted suicide, and suffers from PTS, eating disorders and anxiety. This is pretty terrible.
@silkyballfro94: Yeah that guy deserves jail time.
No he doesn't, why? Because it seem like she is not telling the truth. he is not in jail = judge thought the same thing - apparently.
Despite the victim revealing that the attacks had caused her to develop anxiety issues and an eating disorder, as well as leading her to attempt suicide, the Irish judge decided not to jail Hustveit.
Something here does not seem right. I cant imagine how touching your girlfriend while she sleeps can cause eating disorder, anxiety and suicide attempt.
So the way i see it, she was fine with it. He was doing it, but she was fine with it. Then after they split she wanted to punish him and made staff up.
However if she indeed attempted suicide just because her boyfriend was touching her during sleep. There is something seriously wrong with her and not because of him.
How many times was i waken up by my gf... Yeah i think she deserves to be put in jail!... No, just no.
but she had problems with his masturbation and use of pornography.
The dude should of broken up with her immediately after discovering her mental issues.
dude is at fault.

Masturbation is natural, and most people do it. If she had problems with it, something is wrong with her, not him.

kind of my point bro.
@thekillerklok: kind of my point bro.
The way I see it he was not doing anything in the bedroom that most people don't. She just blew it out of proportions if she find masturbation and porn that weird - for guys. I mean what was the point of bringing masturbation and porn in court in the first place? Is it a crime or something, most adult people do it, and even more teenagers? She certainly does see it that way... weird chick.
Ohh never mind, i forgot about that, it explains a lot:
She expressed anger that an earlier incident of sexual abuse she suffered as a child had been brought up by his legal defence as a contributing factor in her psychological problems.
Chick was damaged... poor guy. Most likely did nothing wrong and she did blew it out of proportions after all. I cant say that i blame her, what happened to her when she was a kid isn't her fault. It most likely made her not to enjoy sex or anything related. I blame him for not seeing it sooner that she is going to be trouble. I wonder if he knew he was sexually abused as a kid, if she did not tell him, she should have.
This makes sense, this is why Liberals want America to be like Europe, and apologized for Muslim rapists, makes 100% sense
I dunno man, but I sure as hell wouldn't want someone playing with my butthole while I sleep.

What in God's name is wrong with all of you. A women was raped and you're blaming her. What kind of sicknesses in head do yall have? Calling her crazy, damaged and even have the audacity to say, "poor guy" Disgusting rape apologists.
IT literally says,
His crimes first came to light in 2012 when the woman woke up to find herself wet with what she believed to be semen.
She confronted Hustveit who admitted he had had sex with her while she slept. She told him that it was a problem but the relationship continued.
A few weeks later she woke with the feeling that she had been penetrated to find him masturbating and watching porn on his laptop beside her in bed.
Hustveit later admitted that he had regularly raped and sexually assaulted her in her sleep, often while she was under the influence of medication. The relationship ended.
@agent9149: what if wrong with us? Nothing.
So he "raped" her but relationship continued = she was fine with it. She stopped being fine with it after their brakeup. What does that tell you. Dont you see what its written does not make much sense?
She woke up with a feeling she has been penetrated, yet when she looked guy was masturbating and watching porn and NOT penetrating her. Do you see the problem here? People say "rape" too lightly. There is a difference in a boyfriend / gf touching you and 10 guys jumping on you in the dark and heaving their way. If he were found guilty of rape he would end up in jail, he didnt.
Of course she is weird, i am gonna sayit again. If a woman things guy masturbsting and watching porn is not right, than there is something wrong with her, not a guy because this is what guys do. At least most of them. Masturbation is perfectly normal and natural thing.
@agent9149: reason he was not charged is because he did nothing really clear as rape and a lot does not add up. Women do use rape as a means to get back at people you know.
@sirfizzwhizz: he forced himself on her while she was sleeping and on medication. He admitted to it. IT's clear as cut. He's a rapist.
"Women do use rape as a means to get back at people you know"
And what does that have to do with her case? Or do you accuse every person who is a victim of rape for making it up?
@agent9149: what if wrong with us? Nothing.

You're an ignorant fool and a rape apologist. You don't know what rape means nor you have zero understanding on the concept of consent.
@agent9149: i do have a pretty good idea. Two of my friends were raped by a group of strsngers, stabbed and left to die in the woods, they survived. And yes they are "damaged", everyone would be. If you do not see the difference between this and a couple in the beroom than its not my fault. The relationship continued! If she did mind as much as she said, she would have broke up after the first time!
So he was fooling around with her while she was sliping, nothing they didnt do before, and guess what nothing they dindt do after that. I assume she was having sex with him many times afterwards...If she did mind, she would break up and send the police on him, simple. Not like he forced her, tied her and beat here and went rough. Isnt that right?
