Is this one of the Worst Cover Songs of All Time

By worst I assume you mean really famous but reallyshit, because there are lots and lots of Covers out there. Also you have some outright rip off Blues guys ripping off other musicians, Ice-T ripping on queen, basically everything Madonna ever 'wrote'

you had the Brady Bunch do American Pie, Madonna also did - American Pie, Britney Spears also did a I love Rock and Roll, you also got Every Breath You Take P-Diddy, Walk This Way by Girls Aloud/The Sugababes, Artists For Haiti "We Are The World", "I Am The Walrus" by Jim Carrey, Michael Boltons When A Man Loves A Woman or anything by those drugged out pedophile in the cast of the tv show Glee

Man, when a movie looks bad, I expect the soundtrack to be good, at least . . .

It's pretty bad, but I'm sure there's worse covers out there. This movie is gonna suck ass.

It is extremely bad, especially since they could have just gotten Ray Parker Jr. to do a modern take of the song since he IS still active in music but whatever. They can do all they want with this reboot because I frankly don't give a damn. Never have and never will

God, everything about this movie just screams mediocre.

@stupid1: I too was debating on whether it was a cover or not, but the intention was most definitely as a new version of the song and borrows several lyrics and both songs are titled Ghostbusters so Id say it counts.

Well then - if it does qualify as a cover; then it is what's known scientifically as double crap
