@jaken7: true its just stupid. But this one was extra stupid bullying someone triple his size
Fat kids are the most common targets. Bullies just forget that being a fat kid means they outweigh them.
Huh? No, he was noting that the particular bully in the video was just stupid, and that's why he did that. My point was that all bullies are stupid anyways.
That's what an implication is.
@jaken7: alright that's true but still that kid was pretty skinny and from the video you can tell he didn't know how to fight
He thought he did though. You can tell from the sucker punch, the dumb "quick-moving feet" maneuver he's seen in boxing flicks, and the awful fake-out to transitional jab at the big kid's stomach. That kid wasn't any dumber than your average bully. Still dumb as hell though.
@saint_wildcard: Why do you loathe the story? Am I missing something?
Lets just say that there is a reason why Hollywood doesn't do movies about kids who are twice the size of the bully and wrecks him. Also what happened to the bully after the story broke out is a gross over reaction.

what happened to the kid?
what happened to the kid?
Almost everyone who saw the video hates him, he got death threats and people throw things at him. I understand he f**ked up but I say it's hardly fair to have the whole world hate you.

Wow that's awful. I'm a junior high teacher so I see bullying on almost a daily basis. Those kids certainly deserve some type of punishment and they need to be taught (The mantra amongst teachers at our school is, "bullying is a teachable moment.") that they are behaving poorly. But that is awful that he experienced that type of backlash.
@russellmania77: I was an impressionable kid, and my mom taught just down the hall. Getting in trouble wasn't a good idea in my house since my parents were strong disciplinarians, and eventually I was convinced that fighting back really did make me just as bad as the bully. So I stopped fighting back and just separated myself from people when I got to middle school. It made it so that the other kids left me alone, more or less, and I didn't get in trouble. I'll admit it was pretty lonely, though.
So, in other words, like Sonny Corleone? Awesome.
Exactly. And while I'd forgotten what a bada$$ Sonny Corleone was, his brother-in-law got the message loud and abundantly clear: he NEVER hit his wife ever again! Because he found out what it feels like to be curbstomped, humiliated, and completely dominated by someone you have no hope of defeating.
All bullies should receive this treatment (although Michael Corleone's method of dealing with his brother-in-law should be considered over the top, just for the record).
@masterkungfu: depends on what?
@russellmania77: on the severity and type of treatment the big kid received. cyberbullying, regular teasing, humiliating then no they should tell someone responsible. extreme physical abuse, stealing, sabotaging property then yes because they have a proper excuse for fighting back like a spontaneous chemical reaction.
This kid is going pro. Watch.
This kid is going pro. Watch.
If I was that boy after I did that body slam, I would have pissed on the kid.
@laflux: Then teabag the hell out of him.

Edit- it seems the kid did a delayed gutrench powerslam..
Yes. Always, yes. The idea victims retaliating are equal in blame with the bullies, is complete and utter bullsh_t.
I am in 6th grade and some of my teachers do actually say if you think you will get hurt defend your self but don't injure him, my mom says the same thing, but my dad says if someone hurts me I have his permission to kick his sh¡t off, and that once he is down make him p¡ss himself
Human beings are cruel, savage in nature.
Hiding behind rules and law when really……...where all just monsters.
But society rejects that. So out of fear of persecution we force ourselves to believe that we are better. That we’re in control.
We choose not to see the bad. Clinging on to a false hope that everything will be alright.
But the truth is…………….Tragedy is invisible. Seen only through the eyes of the unknown and forgotten.
We are not better. We are not important. We are not in control.
Peace is a lie. Chaos is inevitable and natural.
He can fight back, but not inflict gratuitous injury.
It was 8th grade.
His name was Will, and he was one of those kids always screaming in Class, acting like a total dick and just being a nuisance.
David was a rich farm boy. He harassed me when I was younger, but things settled. I watched him bully and taunt Will because his family was working class, because girls hated him, because he was always in and out of the Prinicipal's office.
I was on the swing during recess. Things had reached a boiling point, and I didn't do anything.
Will jumped on David's back and put him in a chokehold for ten seconds, David wrestled him off and was about to beat him when the teachers pulled them apart and lemme tell you, after he stood up to his bully he left him alone.
Except he didn't. It didn't stop the cycle of violence. For the next year, anytime David saw Will, he would jump him, beat him or humiliate him because nothing pissed him off more then someone who made him look like that.
It's okay if you do, but anyone who tells you "Just fight your bully!" clearly lived in a different time. It just makes things more violent.
