I think Deadpool is my new favorite hero

I am back from my hiatus (Eh, I might go back to it)

Fyi, I made it clear some time ago that I didn't care much about Deadpool and wasn't going to see his movie. I changed my mind hehe. So on the night of Feb. 12th I got bored and started walking downtown for a breath of fresh air. I decided to go watch a movie and didn't realize Deadpool was out. It was either that or Zoolander 2. I must tell you guys that was the funniest movie I seen in a long time lol. I was not expecting the movie to be like that at all. I hope his comics are this good because he has gained a fan :)

While it does the nail Deadpool, the story is pretty straight forward and nothing special. The dialogue and characters carry the movie. Fight scenes are really cool.

I enjoyed the movie so much I was tempted to grab one of his comics. I still might give that team up book he has with Spidey a shot.

Who did Deadpool replace as your favorite character?

Personally I found the film version more appealing, he always annoyed me in the comics but Reynolds made me love the movie more than I expected. In my personal, humble opinion this is a rare case of movie > comic.

@claymore1998: I expected such a rating. I wouldn't know how good it is, haven't seen it yet.

But I am curious to see how fans will look at this movie a couple years from now. Not saying all, but some are blinded by hype right now, hehe.

I'd probably give it 8/10, it's pretty much the best they could've done it...though it did feel like it was missing something. Definitely one of the best comic book films imo though, got the character spot on...very excited for the next one.

Yasss. At least you got to see it. My younger brothers saw it with their friends while I was stuck at home by myself for 8 hours, LOL.
