I shoplifted thread

Tell about the time you shoplifted an item from a store or anywhere.

Ok I'll start, when I was broke I use to steal cooked Pizza from Whole Foods.

It was simple really, I'd order a slice or two from the Pizza cafe in Whole Foods, they give you a ticket and expect you to go to the Cashier up front to pay.....

But instead, I happily walk to the outdoors seating area and eat my slices for free, sometimes I would even grab a bottle of their expensive organic tea to wash it down, but that was more risky so I didn't always grab it...

Edit: I forgot to mention Comicvine does not support Shoplifting, it is a bad thing to do...

Please realize that Inam being 100% serious with the following statement.

You have done a very bad thing. Stealing is not a joke. It may be indirect, but you are still taking money from someone's wallet. You are still making somebody get chewed out by his boss. You are increasing your pleasure by adding to someone else's pain.

I shoplifted a candy once. I was a bad fearless mf back in the day.

I once stole 40 cakes. That's as many as four tens, top that.

I used to steal a lot. It doesn't really bother me much depending on circumstance. That being said, I personally have all the money I need to get whatever I want, so I don't.

Anyway I never have really shoplifted, or at least not in my adult life. I would sometimes when I was elementary school, but it was small stuff like a piece of candy or some potatoes wedges from the grocery store deli or something lol

I was about 5 years old. I wanted a pack of gum and accidentally walked out the store with one. Realizing my mistake, I went back to the shopkeeper and gave the gum back. I've never shoplifted in my life.

I got caught shoplifting. Very lame.

For once I agree with Batwatch.

I stole from Couche tard more than once (Three times at top)... Wasnt worthing it, i didnt steal more than 50% of the bill i payed and the taste of those candies were bad. I'm not the biggest stealer of my familly tho... My brother used to steal a lot of 1$ items and food back in the day...

When I was about 3 or 4, I believe I took some sort of scuba diving gear set from a gift shop at Sea world. There weren't any repercussions though, an employee followed me and just laughed it off. I've heard that they take shoplifting at Disney gift shops far more seriously though.

Not an excuse, but if it's something you've grown past, then I'm glad. We all do dicky things. Hopefully we learn to be better with time. I just didn't want this thread to treat shoplifting as if it's some small time deal. It's not like you murdered anyone, but it's not something to celebrate.

It depends if were talking about going inside the store legally and then taking something illegally then I've stolen videogames , magazines , food , headphones , watches , movies all types of stuff really.

We talking about illegally going in to someone's business then I've stolen guns , bullets, keys and cars

I've been there before. But, that was before I even knew what money was. I remember stealing a pack of Grape Bubblicious when I was 5-years old. When my mother found out about it (I was literally chewing the gum in her face), she slapped the sh!t out of me. I never shoplifted again after that.

I shoplifted a few times from a couple of grocery stores when I was in Junior High, until I was finally caught; the manager threatened to call the police but let me into the hands of my parents instead; the manager put the fear of God in me in the way he threatened to involve the police; it was the waiting and not knowing which he would chose to call, the police or my parents. I took that as a lesson and never did it again, because I had a different mindset at the time; I was really afraid of how a criminal record would affect my prospects of achieving my goals in science at the time; however, being a youth at the time, that incident would have been sealed; however, I'm glad I thought in those terms, because it caused me to avoid further criminal activity at the shoplifting level or above. I was just hungry at those times and was trying to get something to eat. Shortly after this, there were drastic changes in my life that would have actually been far more conducive to such a lifestyle, but, because of the psychology that store manager played with my mind, coupled with my psyche, at the time, I avoided it for the school lifestyle instead. But now, I'm much more cynical about everything in life; it would be good to turn back the hands of time and get that mindset back that I had back than, as I was much more positive and optimistic about things, but, I'm much more guarded at this time, which is probably a lot safer for me.

My buddy once used to steal things from stores, just candy and stuff. Then one day this dude walks into a Meijer and tries to walk out with 8 watches, a pocket knife, 6 lighters and a damn flashlight, a Security guard was following him the whole time and he had to go to court xD.

This was in high school btw.

@batwatch: Well thanks but to be honest I don't really feel bad about it, since the last I stole some pizza Whole Foods has made millions and I think getting some food because I was hungry isn't the worst crime in the world...

But I wouldn't do that now.

I used to steal like baby bottle pops, a pack of gum, or snicker bars back when I was like 4 or 5 but that's really it cause I would always carry it in my hands and then end up putting it in my pockets to go look at the toys to see if they had any new wrestling action figures, hot wheels, or Marvel Legends action figures. Besides that, I haven't really stolen anything

I stole a pack of M&MS for the road, a fish thermometer and pocket warmers from Wal-Mart to keep someone else's piss warm to pass a drug test to get a job at Sears(yeah, they're still open).

I used to steal playboy magazines lol....well, more like I would open the plastic cover, and rip out pages I would use for later haha
