I've been reading about this guy the past few days and and I've been wondering, how powerful is he? I've heard he's kind of weak when you compare him to a being like Galactus. If anyone could give me an answer I'd appreciate it.
how powerful is unicron?
@mrdecepticonleader I think this is where you come in...
@buffalo: He is pretty damn powerful. He is capable of eating entire worlds. The Matrix is pretty much his only known weakness.
"Unicron is the eternal arch-enemy of his twin brother Primus. Also known as the Lord of Chaos, the Chaos Bringer, and the Planet Eater, he is dedicated to consuming the multiverse. His massive form is powered by the consumption of planets, moons, stars, and even the very fabric of existence. Unicron will not be sated until his ultimate goal is attained: to bring an end to the annoying creation boasting independence around him, and find peace by becoming the living center of a swirling, infinite torrent of nothingness at the end of all things.
To undertake this seemingly overwhelming task, Unicron is able to travel across realities at will, a meandering plague upon existence itself.ntegrated into his systems are incomprehensible quantum computers which calculate probabilities forward and backwards in time, in perpetuity, giving his processors an ever changing, evolving map of the multiverse. With these abilities at his disposal, Unicron has thus far devoured approximately 22.56% of known universes.
The only thing that he fears is Primus's essence, contained inside the Matrix. To a being of chaos and uncreation, this font of life is a poison."

Thanks :)
@mrdecepticonleader: Can he beat Galactus?
Ha ha ha ha.... I thought you said "How powerful is unicorns?"
lol
@mrdecepticonleader: Can he beat Galactus?
Depends what version. At his strongest he probably could.
@mrdecepticonleader: Can he beat Galactus?
Probably. He is much larger than Galactus he is larger than a planet, and if I am not mistaken Galactus is much smaller than that. Plus the Matrix is his only known weakness.
@mrdecepticonleader: Galactus can alter his size to however big or small he wants.

are you saying what version of Unicron because there are no versions of Unicron....Unicron is a muliversal entity...he exists as one being across the entire Transformers multiverse
@mrdecepticonleader: Galactus can alter his size to however big or small he wants.
Okay.

Probably Celestial level at best.
He is Abstract Level at full power.
But which Abstract? because not all abstracts are on the same level.

What feats does homeboy have to support this?

Yeah I once owned a comic where he was ripping planets apart with his bare hands while eating them.

Ah, thanks. So it does seem like he is multiversal level.

@ryanburns: Heh whoops.
At best universal, but honestly in death probably a lot more of a threat given that black-hole plot-line.
@buffalo: I think he is on par with Thanos w/ IG or beings like the Living Tribunal.
@unknownperson123: Proof of that?

According to the Transformers Wiki, there's a toy that was released not too long ago that said the Unicron from the Prime series sent waves through the multiverse when he woke, drawing the attention of a Leo Convoy from another universe who then went to investigate. Take that how you will.
It really depends on when you look at Unicron, do you mean Unicron in his current sealed form which is his robot form or do you mean true Unicron which is said to outstrip even the True Star Saber which is able to collapse multiverses with a single swing.
Then there is the Unicron Phenomenon that is the black hole, it can happen seemingly when one of his avatars is destroyed and it creates a multiversal eating black hole that if not stopped by Primus will continue to grow and feed until it is the only thing left.
Unicron is a Multiversal Singularity in the sense that the true being can only exist in one universe at a time but there is a work around that has happened, several echoes of the true being can spawn outside the strappings of the greater entity like a virus, a festering plague on reality and these echoes of Unicron may hail from more mundain places but possess the same consumptive traits as the true being, so all powers displayed by these echoes over the years are availible to the true Unicron aswell but on a scale and power that far outstrips them.
Unicron's full power is still being nerfed into the ground by the form he is forced to wear when in a physical plane beacause Primus tricked him into taking it and is now unable to leave it for his True form but he can still create galaxy destroying ripples in space-time just by existing.
@frisky: I love that concept of Unicron, but wasn't his true form broken into shards that each went into a different universe? I thought the concept of multiversal singularities was removed from Transformers?

I haven't read anything of the sort about Unicron myself, perhaps I have just glossed over it myself but never made notice, if so I will gladly concede that I am talking about old info, thanks for bringing it up.
