I'm gonna say yes just for you Superman lol.

Well, you see, Superman has this thing called super speed, and lots of it, along with super and x-ray vision.

First hour hour: I scan the entire planet for all the terrorists stockpiled weapons and use heat vision from space to completely scrap every one of them.

Next 2 hours: I read every book in the Library of Congress and all of the best selling books for the last 20 years.

Next 2 hours: I write my own books. 3 complete series 1. for the cash (ala Harry potter) 2. for lasting legacy (ala LOTR/Hobbit) and the last set for my own personal style.

Next 8 hours: Scientific research and design to create a clean fuel source, that I would give away free.

Next 10 hours I spend using my ability to find out all the government secrets I can, and stock piling them for future use.

For the last hour I just scan the entire world with various visions to find all the people that need to go, thanks to the multiple government secrets, and eliminate them.

Doing all of that, nobody would ever even know about it,

I will live on my mountain of cash from my books and smile knowing I made the world a MUCH better place with free clean energy, and fewer mass weapons, and certain people gone.

12 hours i travel the galaxy looking for friendly advanced races and tell them where Earth is in the Galaxy and tell them to visit us and help us out.

12 hours i dedicate my entire body for medical research.

Now i wait for a couple of years to become Superman again.

24 hours of being Superman? I'm certain that will provide me with ample time to gather every bill in the United States. I'd be balling like a muh.

easily billions if you are evil. just have to push a huge asteroid towards earth, fly back to earth and give an excuse saying you need money for prep to fly into space to deflect the asteroid. 2 or 3 of those and you can easily make billions

Best idea that would work would probably be to bring back huge quantities of resources from other planets.

As much money as you want. Just x-ray the ground for precious metals then go get them, end the blood diamond thing, then just create a monopoly on that

By the time word got around the world that I had Superman's powers, I'd have no powers.

It wouldn't matter to him riches such as money matter not to a being who is stronger than any force on the planet. Currency is a sense of societal control, an agreement on distribution,wealth and security. A being like Superman has no need for societal approval no one has the capability of stopping him from taking what he wants.

You could locate all lost cash / buried treasure on the planet.

You'd probably be set with that.

You could just lift $1 from 100,000,000 wallets if locating the lost cash was a chore.

Just threaten to destroy the planet, you would have to make an example of something/someone displaying such capabilities, tanking a few nukes should suffice, the world leaders then give you complete control. Money becomes irrelevant then or in other words you hold everything of value on the planet.
