JUMPED ON THE ANIME/MANGA TRAIN AMIRITE
Has anyone else taken a break from comics &...
@tacosheep: hmm I actually never heard of it, is it awesome?
@iragexcudder: Yes, it has a great anime too. It's basically the next Soul Eater but with a school of heroes.
OT: Nope, do both anime and comics (sometimes manga if I have to). Took a Marvel/DC break before but never a comics break.
@major_hellstorm: that's what's up! Is it on Crunchyroll Funimation or Kissanime? I haven't read a comic since Legacy of Luther Strode finished... I still collect every week though because I'm a hoarder :)
@iragexcudder: I don't think it's on Crunchyroll, but it's definitely on Funimation, Kissanime, and Hulu.
@iragexcudder: Idk, probably is on Crunchyroll it's on Cartoon Crazy for sure though.
@omega_kai: thank you, I'll check it out when I get home because I have nothing to watch:(
@lunacyde: yeah same here, I downloaded Zingbox and it just throws manga at you
Yea of the 2015-2016 era I've been reading bits and pieces of everything specfically pretaining to the big two, Especially Marvel since it's all over the place and giving us Struggle Bar Storylines...But I read Image and Darkhorse all year round ..And I never left the Anime /Manga Train to begin with so :P
@jumpstart55: What were you reading from Darkhorse?
Firstly.
"Manga are comics created in Japan or by creators in the Japanese language, conforming to a style developed in Japan in the late 19th century."
"The term manga in Japan is a word used to refer to both comics and cartooning. "Manga" as a term used outside Japan refers to comics originally published in Japan."
And to answer your question: Yuck.
Mainstream comics from any country are a disgrace, usually.
@kfhrfdu_89_76k: I'm aware
@omega_kai: Predator, Hellboy, Conan, B.P.R.D,Tarza on the planet of Apes, Weird Detective and The Strain.
Kinda, the last comic I bought was in May or June, but I technically haven't bought any anime/manga either...I just stream anime for free.
Nah why do a break when you can free comics on internet :D
Criminal
No.
Comics and manga both get boring as shit. I switch back and forth, or don't read any after a while. I see myself getting bored of manga quicker than comics though .
I can't get into manga or anime. It's not my culture.
This. I just can't get into those weird visuals, and voice acting and those many many parallel lines everywhere when someones running or shouting.
