Follow the Leader by Eric B. and Rakim
Greatest Rap song of all time
I can't choose one. One of my faves of all time inn "One Love" by Nas. He really put his heart into that song.
Gambler says:
"My favorite.... well I have alot but the one that stands the test of time for me is this."
this is a great son, one of the best

"Valkaad says:"I really like cleaning out my closet by eminem. EMPD has a lot of great stuff as well."Ohhhh hell yeah EPMD."

not only are the lyrics good but it is very uplifting
Hm... Nas "One mic" was definitely great, "New York state of mind" is simply classic.. "Brooklyn's Finest" by Biggie and Jigga was greatest duet on a song ever. Tupac "Dear mama" is my personal favorite of his. "Daydream" and "The Cool" by Lupe Fiasco is somewhere high up on my list, but seriously, there is no best song ever. Albums? Maybe. But songs? No.

Way too many to consider. I have trouble choosing my favorite song from an artist -- hell, from an album. I think Nas has several that are legit contenders (One Mic, If I Ruled The World, NY State of Mind, Represent, It Ain't Hard to Tell, etc.). Eminem has a few contenders, Lupe has contenders (MURAL), etc.
Just choose just about anything by 2 Live Crew; my favorite is Me So Horny; this was one of about 2 or 3 of the first rap songs that I was exposed to at around age 11; RIP Fresh Kid Ice, very belated from 16 months ago. Around this time, there was also that song by NWA concerning the police that I liked, also, or, that I was exposed to a lot; oh, and then there was Fight The Power by Public Enemy.
@kroczilla: Eminem's first verse was hell of a lot better than his second. His second was good but the first was out of this world
