Enhance one of your senses, but lose another

You are exposed to a radioactive chemical that causes you to lose one of your senses completely, but enhances another one of your senses to the highest potential. However, you get to choose which you lose and which you enhance. Which of your 5 senses would you be willing to lose to enhance another?

Enhance hearing and lose hunger.

I'm more likely to just develop acute radiation sickness than anything else.

Taste and smell are linked. You lose smell, you lose both.

I'd give up taste. Swap it for sight. With no sense of taste I could eat healthy without caring.

No. There are more than five senses.

@supremegeneration: How so? If I don't find the taste of something appealing, I'll avoid eating it even if it's healthy. If I can't taste it then it doesn't bother me so I'll be eating healthier.

Oh, I thought you meant that by having no taste everything you ate would be healthier, my bad.

Might end up bad in the long term. A lot of illnesses you sense through pain. Without it it'll be hard to diagnose if you have one but don't know about it.

More like, when you can't taste anything you won't be eating much of anything. Ever since my Grandfather had chemo years ago, he can't taste anything and he hates eating.

@mysticmedivh: well, all feeling wouldn't leave, just touch via skin. And if something is wrong, I'd probably see it...very well.

Lose taste, gain hearing.

I'd enhance my sense of sight and lose my sense of taste. Taste is important and all, but it'd sort of be helpful to lose it if you think about it. I won't have any incentive to eat fast food, potato chips, cake, etc. I can also eat healthy food that tastes like crap. On top of all that, I have supersight which is incredibly helpful. Frankly, this is a pretty good deal.

I wouldn't change anything. I don't place my thoughts above what nature intended lol nature had several million years 'prep' haha

I can only imagine how good physical contact must be this way.
