Never seen My Little Pony, nor do I care to, but I know that DBS is some ass. To me, at least.

Haven't watched My Little Pony, but anything's better than a DBS or any Dragon Ball series for that matter.

If I ignore that, it ain't too bad. It's good for what it is: action, pretty good characters, exqusite fight scenes, etc.

@rey_everdeen: Right, the thing is when I was a kid TV was significantly duller, so more action heavy series like this with lots of fights and cool explosions was a god send at the time. But in time better quality shows and anime came on, and nowadays with the internet and ability to watch what we want when we want it, a series lacking that much substance doesn't really hold up, but for us older fans all we can think about is all the good memories of watching it on Toonami (plus doesn't hurt that TFS has given it a major boost)

Where Dragon Ball Super messed up at was not continuing from the Kid (Majin) Buu Saga and then not making basic, commonsense plans to have it dubbed it for English audiences like the United States (e.g. the intro theme song was a bit of a disappointment from the previous one, also, although it grows on you after a while); I hear they're working on Season 2 now, where Season 1 concluded back in 2018 or something? As a result, I caught some of Dragon Ball Super mostly in reruns on the Cartoon Network very recently; the Jiren character literally drove Goku right to his very limits; that was cool how they made that concept. The only thing similar to My Little Pony that I watched a little was the Rainbow Brite and the Princess movie (e.g. see how much she talks just like Stephanie McMahon).

Even though Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z are better than Dragon Ball Super, Dragon Ball Super is better than any cringy My Little Pony stuff.

Funny how a "kid's show" is far more developed and well-made than DBS.
