• But i would have assumed they do..I mean their blast were light speed in the Saiyan Saga when Piccolo destroyed the moon for example....And they casually dodged such blast on the regular in the past....And then when you factor in that they have gotten much faster and stronger since then, id say its reasonable to assume that they might be well pass light-speed nowadays...And the Instant Transmission technique by far exceeds light-speed, as Goku is able to travel to far distant planets on the far side of the cosmos in mere seconds where light would take years-Centuries.

It think they were able to reach relativistic speeds in short bursts ever since the Saiyan saga, for the reasons listed here:

If you can prove it. Even then I wouldn't say everyone in the universe does; only the character(s) that have the proof to back it up. Why should dragon ball characters be the exception to needing their own quantifiable feats?
