I remember a chick I was with in College who actually read comics... She was so much fun... chick even liked Rap Music.

I thought GOD had dropped her out of Heaven just for me... and then she Graduated.

Can whoever have created this post be that naive. Yes we read comics, yes we play sports (I play rugby) and yes we can do anything guys can do.

In all the time I have been at the comic store I have only seen 1 chick. well. 2 by 1 was with a boyfriend.

1) Yes girls read comics. All kinds of comics.

2) Yes girls can like sports such as soccer. I love soccer personally.

3) Having read this thread, this last point is the most important. Chill. Getting upset in the forums, shouting, and name throwing is silly. If someone is being offensive to you, tell a mod. Or ignore them. Arguing a point after its faults have been pointed out is a bad look. Even if you think you're right, at some point you should just drop it. Let it go. Just remember if you can't make your point in a calm fashion, then you should wait till you are calm.

I saw a girl in my LCS for the first time last week and 5 minutes later I saw two more come in, maybe its because I go there regularly on Wednesday mornings and I saw them on Sunday

My wife reads manga. Does that count?

@lykopis: Well I'm actually quite unkown with other comic book fans as I've never met one in my life :( (I live in the Netherlands) so I guess you know it better it's just I thought it was sometimes seen as geeky.

Nope, its a huge lie comic book companies tell us to think their are girls out there who do guy stuff. All the girl accounts you see are fake as well, just men pretending to be women. Its all a conspiracy!!!!

I have to admit that I don't know a single girl in real life who actually likes Western style comics like Marvel or DC.

Plenty love Manga as the stories are often aimed at girls. Personally I read just about everything, when I was little I wasn't into all the girly dolls like my friends was in.But I do have to admit guys read way more comics than girls on average.
