This topic was brought to light by a user, Frozen to be exact. But here's a video to go along with this.
I apologize in advance if you lose any brain cells.
@heatblaze123: Nothing in her video was wrong. Seriously, I hate "feminism" as much as the next guy but she is right.

Wow, you were right, this is dumb.
Sexy women is NOT misogyny. Advertisements use sexy women to sell stuff, even stuff to women, because men prefer to look at attractive women over attractive men, but also WOMEN prefer to look at attractive women over attractive men. There is a gender bias in humans that FAVORS women. As a species, we are more concerned with women than men.
Drunk sex is NOT rape. Drunk sex is no different from sober sex. It is still consensual. Don't want to have drunk sex? Then don't drink too much. Getting drunk is illegal pretty much everywhere in the US, anyways, so, no, you don't have a right to drink too much.
Laci Green is such an idiot.

Be ashamed for saying that...
@heatblaze123: LOL
The slogan has nothing to do with rape or misogyny. It was part of their 'Up for Whatever' ad campaign which promoted the use of their product to have a more adventurous life.
But I suppose that isn't as fun as creating a strawman and getting knee-jerk reactions from followers.
I don't drink beer or know who this person is but she makes a good point.

I was wrong. She didn't fact check a few things like the ads or the salary. And she did contradict herself.
But the points she raised were accurate. He raised good points too but you built a strawman from her video. She wasn't criticizing beer itself, just the companies that advertise it.
His focal point was that women don't drink beer therefore companies don't advertise towards women BUT he doesn't take into account that maybe women don't drink beer because the advertisements failed to reach them in the first place. It's kind of like the "chicken before the egg."

Gee wiz, does that chick need somebody to get her a beer or what!? Amiright?!

Did you not watch the video? Beer companies did try to reach women and still it was a failure.

Yeah and I'm wondering if that would have actually worked. How can I explain this simply? Um
OK beer has been around a long time, yes? It's probably been being marketed for around the same time too, right? Well, if during the early stages of beer advertisement beer was established as a man's thing, then a hundred years later when they try to make it into a woman's thing, it may not have very good effects. Hence, the 17%. Chicken before the egg.
I'm just pointing out that it's possible the reason why that marketing strategy failed was because it was simply too late. Like trying to advertise ballet to heterosexual men. The strategy would fail, not because ballet is gay or feminine but because THAT is what's been established already. Get it?
@kgb725: It wasn't a rape slogan though. It was more of a "don't be lame" slogan.
In the US Beer companies, and all other manufacturers of alcohol get over 80% of their revenue from alcoholics in the US, which is an estimated 15 to 17 million people (about 5% of US population) depending on where you draw the line. Women make up 1/3 of alcoholics. Women prefer wine and liquor to beer. Approximately 14% of college age males are alcoholics. Alcoholics tend to progress to harder liquor as they get older. Alcoholics often experience sexual dysfunction, especially as they age.
Now why would they ever target young men and those wish they were still young men? Why oh why would they make it seem like it helps you get women?
@immovableray: I didn't really think of it as a rape slogan but you know how things are these days.
@kgb725: Ah I see. Yeah certain feminists are making me sick. I seen this one shit on the news a couple weeks ago that made me sick.
LOL!
@heatblaze123: Is it weird Big Red turns me on?
@heatblaze123: Is it weird Big Red turns me on?
Nah, it's all good.

She lacks youth, but she has fiery passion similar to youth that gives me the tingles
@immovableray: I seen feminists get mad at Kendrick Lamar just because he didn't marry a dark skinned black woman. Feminism is out of control
I did not. What about light beer? Non-alcoholic beer? O'Doules? Has my chicken been choked, practically to death, because of my love for A&W?
@kgb725: Oh they tried Ken up? That's kinda lame. What was his response?
Leave the beer out of this. Beer is good. Nuff said.
this.
@immovableray: I don't think he ever responded. But he got engaged to a foreign light skin chicken and they went crazy because he's "pro-black"
@kgb725: Well, can they blame him. I mean, he does have a little bit of a problem, doesn't he?
Gee wiz, does that chick need somebody to get her a beer or what!? Amiright?!
Aaaaaaaaannnndd /thread

I disagree, mate. Beer blows. :p
@immovableray: He's been with her for over 10 years that's his high school sweetheart I wouldn't say that it applies to him
@kgb725: Oh it applies. Even if he has been with a girl that long. The dudes got a f*cking problem.
The ad debunks her whole argument.
