Did you cry when Superman killed Zod in Man of Steel?
No, because I'm not a woman.....
I actually remember a man sitting 2 rows ahead of me crying
No, because I'm not a woman.....
Not really following how that relates
Not to say zods death was something to cry about
No, why would you? I felt kinda bad for Zod, since he wasn't really a bad guy, but I wasn't anywhere close to tears.

lmao how wasn't he a bad-guy? It's not like he was carrying a ship full of refugees, and needed the planet because it was the only hospitable one while they were running out of resources.
lol nope. My reaction was more of astonishment in a "FUG HE ACTUALLY DID IT" way than sadness.
It takes a lot for fiction to make me cry tbh.

It was a joke in poor taste. You know that stereotype of women being really sensitive?
I can understand someone crying for pa kent's death if someone put a gun to their head.. but why would anyone cry over zod?

Because in his mind he was doing what he thought was the right thing (and honestly, it was).
It's the manner in which he went about it that was kinda wrong.

How's it right? He wanted to create a society based around his own principals in order to control it and he wanted to wipe out another population to do it. There is not a single thing benevolent about his agenda.
It's not like the aliens in "The Event" who wanted to wipe us out to make room for their people because their planet was dying. Zod wanted to make room for people who didn't even exist yet.

What? No. The whole thing wrong with the Kryptonian society is that they were genetically created to fulfill a particular duty in life and society; their life choices and paths were decided for them from birth (Jor-El and Lara are rare cases). Zod didn't wanted to recreate Krypton, because as Krypton's leading general, his duty was to protect and preserve Krypton; it is literally within his DNA to fulfill that one purpose. He didn't want to recreate krypton based around "his own principles", where the hell did you get that from?!?!?! I mean his entire motivations for his actions were entirely spelled out each time he spoke, LITERALLY. And with the codex in Superman's DNA, he had no choice but to sniff him out, which meant threatening Earth. He wasn't doing it out of spite, or evilness, or hatred, or even malicious intent; he was doing it because that's what he was created to do.

Ah, ok, i see,
Only cried when I realized that it was 2 hours of my life I was never going to get back.
Oh My God Man, Savage.

Tell That To Zod's Snapped Neck.
No.
No, but I did shout out "oh snap!!!"
Were you showered in popcorn and last slurps of soda after that? :)

Nah, but I was given angry stares.
Once again. it's threads like this that make me hate the internet

The MVP of that entire movie! XD
Not really. They need more character development in these movies. They also need to take it more slowly and not try to introduce a dozen characters in a single movie and jump right to the end of a story (Dark Knight Returns, Death of Superman). You need to earn people's investment in characters over time.

Being genetically programmed to do something bad makes him not evil? Are sociopaths who do bad things not evil either, because they often have genetic anomalies and abnormal brain function as well.
