I can, but I seem to be alone on this XD
Can/Would you go out to see a movie at the theaters alone?
I prefer to go with someone but if I really want to see a movie and can't find some else that wants to I have no problem going solo.
Only if it was a movie that couldn't be missed and no one wanted to go. Would it be weird or awkward being by yourself?

I had to see Man of Steel alone because my wife's said that we weren't going to pay a baby sitter so she could sit in a theater and listen to me geek out and/or bitch for 2 and a half hours.
I've done it a couple times. One time was on 3 of my friends birthdays. I didn't know which party to go to and I felt like I was being pulled by each one of my limbs on the daily. I decided to watch Savages by myself.
Solid movie.
( + )
I already do.
@hbktimhbk: Sure I can, but I have a hubby for a reason. :3
If i want to see a movie i'll go. If someone wants to tag along it's fine. I go alone plenty of times :)
I mean, when you think about it. You're watching the movie anyway ... Why do you need someone to sit with you that you won't even talk to during the movie. Unless it's a date but i can think of more fun things to do than going to a movie theater..
Used to work at a theatre when I was in college. Tons of people go to the movies alone, especially on weekdays.
I already do.
All the time.
Alone, as in on my own but with other people in the theater? Yes, I do it all the time... because thats how sad my life is :)
But alone with noone else there? Eh, I'll just watch it on my TV...
It's weird seeing movies alone.
Why?
I would, if I felt like it.
@cpt_nice: I think it would just feel weird seeing movies alone, probably because I come from a very large family that had family movie nights out.
These are a few things I just can't do on my own that are generally fun. Miniature golf, bowling, parks, zoos, restaurants (unless it's to go) and hiking.
@sesquipedalophobe: That's funny actually because I come from a large family (oldest out of 6 children) and I really enjoy quite and being alone, especially long hikes. The only thing I do not like doing alone is parties.
@cpt_nice: I'm the youngest of seven, so I think I got used to tagging along for those specific things.
Parties are no big deal going alone to for me.
