Spawn to me is not an anti-hero at all, i see spawn i see the devil.

I see ghost rider i dont worry as there's no way he could hurt the innocent.

Damn you! This is a tough choice. I'm stuck between Rider, Spawn and Etrigan.

I'll go with Spawn. Combination of two things I'm into. The supernatural and the whole Assassin/Super Soldier deal.

Which, bassiclly makes him a Supernatural Soldier. Lol

Completely agreed.

Especially the end of the Lucifer series. He literally saves all of creation and then just walks away. He even tells Yahweh to screw off when Yahweh offers to share his omnipotence.

I've always enjoyed Etrigan, but I'm mostly a DC guy and I haven't seen a lot of the others on the list. In fact, I don't think I've ever read A Spawn comic though someone gave me a stack the other day.

@naamah_obyzouth: You forgot about Hellstrom and Magik. From your list, probably Ghost Rider. Overall, definitely Lucifer.

@gunmetalgrey: Hellstorm is a secondary character, I didn't list him for the same reason I didn't list Black-heart, Mephisto, Vengeance, and so on. They are just secondary characters of Ghost Rider. And Magik is a mutant that I know very little about because I am not a fan of the X books.

@naamah_obyzouth: The Son of Satan still had his own book way earlier than Spawn or Evil Ernie. A lot of characters started off as secondary, Black Panther, Wolverine, Silver Surfer, etc.

I'm surprised that Dante and Hellboy aren't on this list, as popular as they are.

Is Ghost Rider really an anti-hero? His powers may be dark and edgy, but isn't his personality that of a normal hero?

I guess it was all part of Yahwehs plan though, thats the whole point in the end.

For being someone who is uncaring, Lucifer sure sacrifices and risks a lot to make sure Yahweh's creation doesnt die. Chasing Fenris to Yggdrasil with Michael or migrating everyone to his creation or helping Elaine become God.... he sure did a lot of hero stuff for not caring lol.

One of Lucifer's/Samael's defining traits is his passion. Its why he fought so hard against predestination. I have a hard time calling him uncaring.

ya he's an awesome char one of my favourite characters in fiction up there with whitebeard and john con.

@ms-lola: She's just a Mutant who pretends to be a demoness. If I was going to pick a Mutant I would pick (Azeazel) not sure if I spelled that right. Nightcrawlers dad, is the most demon-like Mutant around, and he's not really a demon either.
