Poll Best Battlefield game? (41 votes)

Battlefield 1942 2%
Battlefield Vietnam 5%
Battlefield 2 2%
Battlefield 2: Modern Combat 0%
Battlefield 2142 2%
Battlefield: Bad Company 7%
Battlefield Heroes 0%
Battlefield 1943 0%
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 41%
Battlefield Online 0%
Battlefield Play4Free 0%
Battlefield 3 22%
Battlefield 4 10%
Battlefield Hardline 7%

With battlefield 1 on the way, I thought I'd make a poll discussing which is the best Battlefield game so far.

If you ask me, out of all the Battlefield games I have played the best one for me has to be this one:

No Caption Provided

This game was just fantastic. I hadn't been that addicted to a multiplayer game since Call of Duty 4, this game was so much fun and while I did play Bad Company 1 and 1943 before this one but OMG! the multiplayer in this game was just perfect! it was fun, addictive and overall incredibly well made, though the singleplayer wasn't that great but that's face it the Battlefield games are about the multiplayer and oh boy did this game deliver! and this was also the game that made me leave Call of Duty overall (Though I still love Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 4 and World at War). The Vietnam expansion pack was also really awesome.

So yea Bad Company 2 is my favourite Battlefield game and one of my absolute favourite games of all time, while 3 and 4 were also really good, Bad Company 2 will always have a spacial place in my heart.

So what about you guys? which Battlefield game is your favourite so far and why?

EDIT: The first ever Battlefield was Battlefield 1942.

I'm surprised battlefield 2 hasn't got any votes yet. That game is usually considered the best Battlefield.

Okay but that doesn't change the fact that Bad Company 1 had a very entertaining and well put together single player campaign. The idea that single player doesn't matter is a wee bit daft. It adds more content and when done well, will have you coming back for more on days where you don't feel like playing multiplayer.

It's definitely Bad Company 2. The multiplayer was amazing and flawless. I've also played 1943, BF3, a bit of BF4, and Hardline. The one that came closest was BF3. The worst I played was Hardline. I can't believe I paid full price for that piece of shit game. It is one of the few games I truly regret buying.

I will admit the campaign in BC1 was arguably the best in the franchise, BC2's and BF3's campaigns were okish but that's about it.

I tried to play BF4's campaign, but every time I quite the game on the third mission it erases my save on the campaign :(

Yea BC2 was awesome :)

I also really liked BF 3 & 4 in fact I've decided to go back and play some BF4 on my PS4 and it's still fun.

I never played Hardline, heard it wasn't that good though.

Vietnam, by far the most fun. Bad Company 1 and 2 were good but did not leave as much of an impact. 3 was meh and 4 was bad.

I actually really loved 3 and 4. In fact I've been going back to Battlefield 4 and have been playing it and Star Wars Battlefront 2015 back to back and I honestly have to say that Battlefield 4 is so much better than Star Wars Battlefront 2015 on so many levels it's not even funny. The only thing Star Wars Battlefront 2015 does better than Battlefield 4 is the graphics and sound, everything else Battlefield 4 completely destroys Battlefront 2015 at.

everything but hardline from what I hear

Funny enough I never actually played Hardline, but I've heard it wasn't that good.

Battlefield 4 is my all-time personal favorite.

But, I think it's universally accepted that Bad Company 2 is the best in the series.

Nnnyeah. It was more worthy of being a DLC for Battlefield 4 than it's own game.

I've been getting back into Battlefield 4 after a long absent and I have to say the game is still a tone of fun to play (If your on the PS4 you can add me if you like, my PSN is "Jon-The-Bear").

Actually Battlefield 2 is usually considered the best but Bad Company 2 still gets a lot of praise.

Well the game wasn't actually made by DICE but by Visceral Games (The same people who made the Dead Space franchise), though I think DICE gave them a hand in making it.

But yea it didn't really look that interesting to me honestly, and when I saw the scores the game got I thought I'd skip it.

Let's just say, it adequately filled the gap left by the lack of a boots-on-ground Call of Duty in 2015.

It's small maps, mediocre graphics, fast paced arcadey gameplay flow and lack of skill made it more akin to a Call of Duty game. And since Activision didn't release a boots-on-ground Call of Dutys in 2015, EA filled the spot nicely with Battlefield Hardline.

I can understand with most of what your saying but mediocre graphics? seriously? because when I looked at that game the graphics looked great.

And by "boots-on-ground Call of Dutys in 2015" did you mean't by the fact that their was a lot of wall running, hovering, etc in BO3?

I still play bad company 2 frequently. I love it to death. Especially the jabs the castle makes at call of duty. And the multiplayer. It helped me be a good sniper, to bad I forgot how to do that after a long absence

You know I would so love to go back and play Bad Company 2 on my PS3, though sadly my PS3 PSN is not working for some reason.

I am thinking of buying Bad Company 2 on Steam though do a lot of people still play Bad Company 2 on PC?
