@ComicMan24: I like Darkseid. I'm just speaking the truth about him, lol.
Ask Illuminatus
@ComicMan24: I think Johns and Reis were doing a pretty great job on making him into an interesting character.
@ComicMan24: How much more "integrated" can they really get at this point? It seems like all Marvel focuses on now is dealing with the ramifications of something pertaining to Asgard or the f*ckin' mutants. They're pretty much one of the main focal points. I guess the next step would be direct cooperation consistently between the X-Men, Avengers, F4, etc.
@ComicMan24: Tired of how ridiculous they've become. We now have X-Men who can singlehandedly put the multiverse in a box. I'm all for the evolution of characters and power-creeps, but between the amount of titles dedicated to them and how much the Marvel Universe focuses around their petty squabbles, I'm just burned out.
That's why I loved Uncanny X-Force. Remender took some of the biggest names in the franchise and made sure that the overall story arc(s) were focused on them, even if it was subtle. It was taking the X-Men back to their roots of being a team full of individuals who each brought something unique to the table, and the subsequent missions they went on.
@Illuminatus: Have to agree with some of this. Especially with the number of titles and Uncanny X-Force. That book was good. Tbh I could never really get into the X-Men with the exception of a few titles.
And since you mentioned UXF, what do you think of the two new X-Force titles?
@ComicMan24: The new UXF title is a farce. Puck? Storm? Is this some sort of joke?
Not a big Cable fan, so I probably wont get the other one either.
@Illuminatus: Somewhat if I'm getting your point correctly. I think the X-Men are becoming integrated not as X-Men, but as a subgroup of the Avengers. I think there really won't be any true X-Men unless they stick with Cyclops after this. The book is called Uncanny Avengers and the point is to unite mutantkind with regular superheroes to bridge that gap. With Wolverine being a known leader to the X-Men and with him being a major factor in the Avengers he won't be leading anything without Cap's influence. They are trying to make mutants Avengers thus eliminating any real X-Men anymore unless they don't join Cap or Wolverine's teams.
@ComicMan24: Oh, yeah, they're just thrilled that Storm will finally have a chance to be relevant again.
DAT ASS.
@god_spawn: Precisely. You hit the nail on the head.
Remember when there were clear lines drawn between what the X-Men handled, and what the Avengers handled? I do.
@Mercy_ said:
How amused are you that Storm's gonna be on an X-Force team?
I'll be more amused when Fantomex returns and misdirects her into eating concrete mix.
@ComicMan24: I totally forgot about that. The irony is strong with that one.
I really don't see the appeal of her character. She's Thor but black and with a nice rack. Big whoop.
@utotheg38: I'll have to do some research into it before I gave an assessment on it. All I know is that it was primarily meant to deregulate the new industries that were springing up because of the internet. Was there some nefarious purposes behind it?
@Illuminatus: I remember the lines. The ones where the X-Men faced a lot of things and often alongside the Avengers did when they had problems but where were the Avengers when the X-Men were getting assaulted by crazy religious zealots, giant robots, and other speciests.
But then again, I'm so glad we get moments like this

media cross ownership
@god_spawn: I might pick it up in TPB if the reviews are nothing short of immaculate.
I wont be picking up the Cable book.
She's a very misguided girl. I pity her.
