There was some that pointed out Deadpool's striking similarity to Deathstroke when he first appeared. However, they're quite different now. I don't imagine Deathstroke's voice has a 'Demi Moore' quality or that he's ever said 'chimichanga' for comedic purposes or ever broken the forth wall.
wade wilson-slade wilson, both assassins, both have been scientifically inhanced. both immortal. similar powers. use similar weapons. sometimes look similar. in one of the dc stories a deathstroke from another dimension tries to refer to himself as deadpool. i dont know much about deathstroke but absolutely love deadpool, i was considerng reading some deathstroke and when i looked him up they seem to be the same person... which i think is cool cause it adds to his fourth wall ability.
Deadpool is much cooler. At least he's annoying on purpose (as a brilliant distractionary tactic against his foes), whereas Deathstroke is annoying just by his very existence.

Yet, deathstroke is not as good as deadpool, which doesn´t means he is not cool too. I must bow down to DP unique style and his way of making fun of anything and being really annoying on purpose. Even if he is a psycho or anything.
But, i guess the OPs point is valid, and donnieman just confirms that. Tough, i oughta do some reasearch to sort this information and confirm anything.
