@noone1996: Kind of difficult to compare the two, seeing as the DCEU just launched its second movie, and the MCU is in its third phase.

@never_give_up: I'm just saying they're two different film franchises in different stages of where they want to be, so comparing is pointless

Prior to Dark World's release, I heard great things about the actor who played Malekith. Yet he still turned out to be a forgettable, underdeveloped villain.

I'm not saying the same will happen here; I'm just saying the actor still needs a good, or at least decent, script to work with.

You're right! You ever seen Hannibal?

But yeah, the villain problem is obvious, the two good villains, Fisk and Loki, actually got developed. So it should be a simple fix.

You don't always have to bite on bait.

@never_give_up: Yeah Fisk and Loki are the only ones that lived. Ward lived for a while until he got messed up and stuff.

Hugo Weaving is a great actor. Yet Red Skull sucked, IMO. Christopher Eccleston is an amazing actor. Yet Malekith sucked, IMO. Tom Hiddleston is a good actor too, but I wouldn't put him above Eccleston, or Weaving. Yet Loki's character is better than both of them.

To me, it's about the direction, execution, and script. If these three elements aren't good, the villain will suffer despite how good the actor is.

Just my 2 cents.

No, I haven't. I've heard good things about, and have some interest, but I've just never gotten around to watching it.

You're right! I'm just excited for Mads also the director has done horror films in the past.

Hopefully, this movie is different.

Similar to how WS changed the verse.

I like Mads too. But I've only really seen him in Casino Royale, which I thought was awesome -- both he and it. I don't really know Scott Derrickson that much. I'm not particularly hyped, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't at least interested in this.

The tension and fear that occurs regarding the Hulk is way greater than what they've been able to do with any villain. Bring me that and your villains will become greater.
