The new Ms. Marvel is another one of my favorite Marvel heroine's. She's still pretty new but she's awesome.

lol yup!
@kazuma_bushi: will there be more?
@kazuma_bushi: will there be more?
There will be when more issues come out. Currently there's only 5 of them.
Kamala is one of my favorite character so far this year, and her book is also among the best. Her, Carol Danvers, and Miles Morales are just about the only reason I keep reading superhero comics nowadays, and I'm glad that Kamala can give a face reflective of young girls reading comics these days.
@twentyfive: I would not turn this into gender discussion cause it's really not
@smxlr8: Not trying to. Just stating my own opinions. I don't typically start these kinds of conversations unless I really feel passionate about them at that particular moment.
You are free to interpret my comment as you wish, but that won't stop me from posting what's on my mind.
@twentyfive: fair enough just making sure we are on the same page here

Seems to me your comments are pretty reasonable. I think Kamala is a good face for both young girls and young people of color who are interested in comics.
And I'm also glad to see someone has started a respect thread for her.
@smxlr8: But it really is a gender discussion. A female poc having her own on-going is a step in the right direction.
@kazuma_bushi: well i was thinking of making 1 for her,but you beat me to it.
good job,def love her.
The amount of support I give this thread. Awesome job and thank you!
Thanks!

Awesome respect thread, I love Kamala Khan. Though I've noticed #11 has been pushed back a week, just like #10 was ment to release in November but released in December. Hope this wont keep happening.
I'm 38 old, long time comic reader, male, white, christian, italian. So I can't be less releted to Kamala Khan even if I try! But anyway, I LOVE HER :) I think that she's one of the best new character I've read in many years [alongside Robbie Reyes, Ghost Rider]. Great Writing, Good Story, Good Power, Great Heroine, Good Art, GOOD ALL.
Great Job Marvel :)
And glad to see many people love and respect Kamala Khan :)
@kazuma_bushi: Meeting Spider-man was something I was hoping for, for quite some time. She reminds me in many ways of 15 year old Peter Parker when he first got his super powers; socially awkward, sometimes looked down upon by others, stress of keeping up with family and school all while learning who he was and what he could do.
I think that's part of the reason why I love reading about her so much, she is someone that multiple people can relate to; people from different countries who've moved to America, Muslims, the socially awkward, young women and even just someone who knows what it's like to have their family breathe down their neck all the time.
It may be a far way off but I am sure they'll touch on more of how the public views Muslim people and of course she's acting as a strong role model but I was think she could eventually meet Dust (http://www.comicvine.com/dust/4005-4555/), she may be from Afghanistan but as a Muslim woman with super powers (and being a mutant) she'll better understand Kamala.
