John Diggle's Costume on 'Arrow' Revealed

We've heard the talk that David Ramsey's Diggle would be getting a costume on this season of Arrow. It makes sense if he's going to be hitting the streets. He needs some protection and should be trying to protect his true identity as well.

A teaser image has finally surfaced over at The Wrap showing Diggle with a helmet.

It's hard to say how it looks. The helmet does look a little small. It could just be the image and the angle his head is. It'll be interesting to see how it looks in action once the season begins.

Arrow returns to The CW on Wednesday, October 7.

This looks horrible. What's so wrong about him not having a costume? It actually made him more interesting to me.

It looks... Terrible. The helmet fitting looks off, which makes me believe its digitized. So i hope it looks better In Action.

That's disappointing. After seeing some of the Guardian fan art of diggle, I'd actually been kind of excited for the new costume. Now? Not so much.

He gets injured less than Oliver I feel the helmet is unnecessary on top of being tacky.

The helmet looks photoshopped on, and it just looks like nothing, like a costume from one of the bad x-men movies.

Diggle = Guardian ? Sounds good to me!

He could wear a ski mask or have a hoodie. Something normal person would wear without going all superhero like.

No but a helmet shaped like that is generally going be a different story. There might be someone else wearing it but it's a pretty strong Magneto signature.

So basically his 'costume' is 'DIGGLE! ... With a gladiator helmet. For some reason.' ... Y'know what? I hope they're messing with us. I hope the reason this picture looks awkward is it's not actually Diggle's costume. I hope at one point he gets into a fight, grabs that helmet that's lying nearby for some reason, puts it on to protect his head in the heat of the moment, and when the fight's over, takes it off. Never to be seen or heard from again, and this entire 'reveal' is just a joke on their part.

It looks like Magneto fitted lil' Pietro for a helmet when he was a baby, threw it away, and someone dumpster dove and started wearing it. It's awful cute.

We don't know this unless it was said official. Nevertheless I think it would be dumb.

I hope there is a logical reason he gets the helmet. He seemed to do fine in combat without it so far...why now? It's not really a mask either,so it can't hide his identity. It looks pretty ugly. Hopefully Diggle gets a mask or something after this. He is my favorite character on Arrow.

Well, I like Dig but that helmet is simply awkward. I hope they come up with something better or I'll just have to get used to it. (And he does look a lot like Magneto - at first glance, I thought Dig was Magneto).
