Will CW Superman be better than DCEU Superman?
Yes.
DCEU died in his 2nd movie which didn't even focus on him. CW will most likely use Superman far more than DCEU has so far.

That will literally be impossible unless they focus all their TWO episodes on him, which they won't.
people will say supergirl is corny but if u stayed through the whole ride like I did and watched the whole season , you realize how good it became when she realized who she was , oh and MMH was a beast , imma leave that here even though it doesn't relate to this topic lol
Henry Cavill IS our current Superman, and I don't think there will be much time or spotlight for Tyler to make such an impression as the Big Blue Boy Scout. The focus of the show is Kara, after all.
He's really cute, though. :3
@birdman400: Totally agree with you.
I bet he is only there for three episodes max.
2
No way.
Considering I forget Cavill as Superman from scene to scene aside from his muscles Im pretty sure he has to better.
If by better you mean cornier, then yeah.
- Hmm a Ken Doll in a Cape or The Cavil of Steel.
- Yea i,m going with not very likely-Maybe...I mean its possible and considering how shitty Cavil was in BVS his chances do look pretty good, but i just get the sense that this guy is going be cornier then a Stalk of Corn.
He looked pretty cool in that clip. However, "Lickety-split" was all I needed to see that he's already not gonna be better than Cavill.
I hope so.
Henry Cavil is a great actor but he's wasted with Snyder's direction of the DCEU.
@saintwildcard: I like ur mind.
He'll probably be closer to the Superman from the comics and be a more appealing character overall but will be less powerful than DCEU Supes.
My well thought out analysis of the episode- My Reaction After Watching Supergirl
*sigh* There was a time where I wouldn't think twice about debating these noobs about DCEU Superman and how he'd better better, especially compared to the CW one.... but goddammit BvS has made it impossible for me.... I am without purpose
From what I've seen in the first episode I've got a really good impression of him. He seems really humble, personable, and cracks jokes. All the comments from the creators and others have made it apparent that they want to make him different from the film version, and he's definitely more light-hearted than Cav-El is. I think he's great.
I saw the episode. He's only better if you think Superman a shallow character who's fulfilled by a smile and a corny joke. That being said, a little lightheartedness is such an easy thing to pull off, that it's annoying the DCEU reverted to a gloomier Superman in BvS when he should've been (shown to be) happier.
BvS is such trash. MoS was OK. Suicide Squad was trash. Things aren't looking good for WW or Justice League.
