Who's more Popular and Iconic? Wolverine or Hulk?

Out of these two who is more popular?

After answering that who do you believe is more Iconic?

They're about even in popularity. I'd bet Hulk is more iconic, though.

I'm thinking the same thing.

They've become so close together in both regards.

Hulk's anger and Wolverine's metal claws are so well known.

Among fans, probably Wolverine.

A more passive/casual audience; Hulk.

Hulk is probs more iconic to the general public.

Wolverine.. wtf no contest. You know how long people have been putting knifes and Pencils inbetween their fingers.. BUHB.. The chops.. The Hair.. The Attitude everyone loves.. THE FACE ON THE X-Men.. come on now.

Right now Wolverine would be more popular.

Spider-Man - Wolverine - Captain America - Iron Man - Hulk. (Case can be made for Cap to be second, but Wolverine is still above Hulk in that aspect)

Plus Wolverine is the #1 Face (Cyclops could be argued) of HIS OWN Iconic team.

Popularity-Easily Wolverine he's become Marvel's Batman.

Iconic- Neither.

Wolverine's more popular and Hulk's more iconic. Wolverine's solo films have done better than Hulk's but when it comes to being iconic everyone knows the line: "Don't make me angry, you wouldn't like me when I'm angry."

Pretty even if you ask me.

For me, I would say Wolverine but based on my experience last FCBD, Hulk is at the very least more iconic.

But hulk has catch phrases that everyone knows. The angry catch phrase. HULK SMASH! Is another. He's definitely more iconic.
