I'm okay with Zendaya or any actress as long as they give her red hair. That's my only hang-up. Race, skin tone or ethnicity make no difference to me. Just the hair.

In all fairness, Zendaya should be given a chance. Last I heard, she's never dated anyone irl, and I don't think MJ has in the comics either (dated anyone before Pete).

I thought of Katherinee McNamara also. She has a real good face for MJ but she looks older than they're making Peter look.

Sabrina Carpenter doesn't have the MJ look even though she has the youth. I've seen her with red hair and it doesn't help. I've seen some hints of actual acting talent though and that's hard to see on shows like she's on.

Dove Cameron is far away from MJ in my opinion.
