1. Personality- cold, distant, and in constant pain due to PTSD . He has good reason behind his rage and an affective method behind his madness. He does get results because he flat out kills the killers, rapists,

and pedophiles.

2. Costume- iconic all black with skull.

3.Ride- rapist van with more weapons than an army base in it.

4. Identity- no secret identity. Frank Castle. Ex- Marine with no super powers. Just rage.

Well me excluded, I'd say Hawkman gets an 11 on everything. Especially in his Brighest Day costume.

Can't believe no one said Spider-Man, characters like Deadpool, Wolverine, Daredevil, Ironman etc that other people have said as the examplars of badassness he has beaten down like a rapist getting fucked up by nuns. Dude scores more tail than most normal people would ever hope to, he's the best at witty comebacks and jokes on the marvel scene(Deadpool can barely keep up with him when he really tries), he is the most selfless and considerate hardknock hero in the Marvel U and is always going into situations out of his league and his level of fighting expertise. He is the prime example that Nerds can be badass motherhubbers.

I hate the term "badass". It inevitably refers to some cluster of attributes in which insecure comic fans vicariously revel in order to temporarily enjoy an accompanying feeling of superiority and minimize the salience of their own shortcomings in real life. Badass attributes are merely those in which fans wish to partake through this vicarious relationship with a comic book or other fictional character: success with women for the sexually insecure, strength or handsomeness for the physically insecure, independence of thought and action for the intellectually insecure...the list goes on. Since the definition of badassedry is relative to the individual, attempting to answer this question objectively is on about the same order of futility as most asked by a community dominated by the erroneous belief that progress in understanding works of art is predicated upon rigidity of interpretation, particularly as it relates to landmarks, such as the definition of a second, that allow us to measure the "feats" of fictional characters as if we were scientists. His identity: He even has the most bad ass alter ego! Bruce Wayne is a genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist! He has enough money to buy entire cities. He's powerful enough to shake hands with the queen. He's attractive to get more action in a single night than most people do in their entire life time. Bruce Wayne is the person women want, men want to be, and who everyone loves.
