Doom and Reed are in a whole other league, with Black Panther close behind. The others are not even worth mentioning.

yeah, and in Rebirth he says he built it all by himself based off his memory putting him at a really high intellect level. But it still doesn't put him up there with these guys IMO.

@supergoku17: Might end up trollish don't you think? But I am not denying that his prep's one of the best and that just makes it hard. All these characters have damn good preps and figuring out which one's the best could take forever to analyze. That's why I'm asking which versions we're talking about so it could/might help us a bit.

I'd say Doom has been the most successful with prep considering he has achieved nigh omnipotence more than once.

I'll go with Reed Richards. To the people who say Dr. Doom....remember the fact that Reed is more intelligent than Dr. Doom. Yes him being more intelligent doesn't necessarily mean that he has the better prep but I'm just putting it out there.

In prep?

Prep includes many different aspects.

When it comes to sheer technology, Reed takes the cake with Doom a bit behind.

When it comes to strategy and manipulation, it's Batman, and then Tony (only at his best) and T'Challa a few steps behind.

One factor of prep which arguably distinguishes prep and can not be undervalued is sneakiness and cunning. Batman takes that, with Doom now a bit behind.

A lot of geniuses outsmarted Doom, Tony especially. And time and time again Marvel proved Doom Respects Tony. Not saying that to prove how Tony is superior to T'Challa (even tho I think he is) but because he is not the first person who outsmarted Doom even tho he is not as smart as him.

Doom flat out compared his contest with T'challa as a game of chess they'd been playing for years, with neither being either to get the victory over the other. T'challa 'won' in the end, as well as having (when younger than Doom was at the time) made a comparable but superior exoskeleton than Doom had made in his youth. His extensive knowledge of alchemical/mystical phenomena is an area in which most of the other top-tier Marvel intellects are outperformed.

He's constantly shown to be an intellectual peer of Reed, Tony and the like. I'm not saying he's smarter than Tony, but around the internet I've seen a lot of people act like he's a scrub compared to the top-tiers, which just isn't true.

Superman may not be up to par with prep masters such as these, but he has used prep effectively before. Check out Action Comics #775.
