I'm thinking Bob Odenkirk.
He has the chops to pull off the humor and seriousness of Deadman.
I haven't heard from this movie in a while and there hasn't been a confirmed release date for me to take this movie seriously, so I would hold off into thinking of any casting choices. Otherwise, this would just go down the drain with the other project movies that were brought up but never picked up by the studio.

Bob Odenkirk would be awesome.
I'd also like John Leguizamo. But maybe that's just me.
I wouldn't be disappointed with that.
@deathstroke52: That was comicbook.com and it didn't even say a confirmed release date. Again, I wouldn't bet my money on this being made until it is confirmed. Otherwise, its just an idea.
@nybreezy: That's true. I really want it to be made though.
@deathstroke52: cool
Timothy Olyphant.
Richard Madden
Not bad.
James Franco.
Maybe....
Rob Stark= Deadman
Not seeing it.
Bob Odenkirk is too old
What did you just say?
Norm McDonald.
Isn't Deadman supposed to have a wicked Bostonian accent?
I don't know that much about Deadman so I don't know.
@deathstroke52: he was in the DCAU, he possessed Superman.
@gunswordfist_: He looks the part.
@edgejohn: Please explain.
Heath Ledger.
