Where does Bruce Wayne stand as a scientific mind?

We all know he's sort of a jack-of-all-trades intelligence that's proficient in most but only expert in some, like tacticians.

But where would you place him scientifically?

I'd say he's somewhere below Lex Luthor, but above... Say, Mr. Freeze. I don't know.

Feats dictate that he's above Luthor. At least to my knowledge.

Science is a very broad term.......

As far as current continuity goes, I'd say Bruce has greater intellect feats than Luthor, unless I've missed something.

As smart as DC needs him too be

Like @stormshadow_x said, he's as smart as the plot requires. Although, criminal "science" and chemistry are the fields he's most frequently show to be proficient in. I would put him a level or two under Joker as far as chemistry goes.

As good as he needs to be for the current situation.

I would say up there with Luthor.

New 52 feats put him above Luthor. Pre 52 he's slightly below Luthor or maybe a bit better, but, they're in the same league.

When it comes to "hard science", Batman is a jack of all trades and a master of none. The areas that he's truly proficient in are more along the lines of psychology, criminology, and martial arts (he hasn't "mastered" 127, I don't know how people believe that BS). That's the way I see it, anyway.
