What would you do if nothing's funny anymore?

What would you do if your favorite comics, movies, games and whatever your hobbies are...you can not enjoy them anymore?

What if you read your favorite comic book series, and you think that's boring? What if you play your favorite games and you feel these are boring?

What would you do? Except going on a trip or study.

I would bring the funny back with a few well placed farts and puns.

I'm on meds for being close to this anyway. If you remove funny, there's only one more thing that brings me any joy. Better keep that around.

I used to laugh at every single cartoon, TV show, movie but now I feel kind of dead inside....I tried watching a couple of Stand-Ups but they just worsened the case...I laughed so much at the brilliant humor that other stuff couldn't hold up and I felt depressed...

stop taking everything so seriously?

I'd recommend talking to someone you're close to. Someone who knows you well enough might have some good ideas for how to cheer you up or find you something new that you might enjoy. And even if not, sometimes just talking to someone helps.

Trying any of the following helps:

- Get a job that will force you to interact regularly with the same people, if you don't already have one.

- Go out with friends, or if you don't have them, get in touch with old ones or make some new.

- Get a special someone if you don't have one.

Study was the "medicine" that worked the longest for me, but you ruled that out.

If nothing works, and you feel you are a centered person despite your depression, then try to go as down as you can, listen to depressive music, watch depressive movies, read depressive stuff, you will at some point get sick of it. (I don't really recommend this)

I'd become bitter, angry and depressed. But I don't know what I'd do about it.

Im trying to think of something funny but you're thread sucks too much lol.

Expand your horizons. Entertainment is subjective, you must choose to be bothered by boredom.
