What if Spider had different effect on Peter Parker?

Hulk was thinking about something while watching the first Spiderman episode of the Spectacular series. It showed the usual stuff, Puny Peter bitten by spider, becoming superhero. But, what if spider-bite had different effect?

What if it instead overtime caused Peter to go through transformation into rampaging spider-monster? What would happen? Hulk think this would make good alternate reality/what would happen comic. Hulk think it could be an interesting twist?

What puny humans think would happen?

that's interesting but he would be no way as cool as hulk and wouldn't be as strong either so wouldn't be able to fight some of the bigger villains. hulk may be dumb (in some comics) but he has brute strength.

Season 2, Episode Morbius and it continues after that episode.
It's been in comics too. There was The Six Arms Saga (without the mutation), ASM #437 and in Marvel Fanfare.
