What If Marvel or DC bought DBZ?

I'd like current DBZ more.

Frieza would be in competition with Darkseid or Thanos to rule the universe.

Goku would attempt to fight Superman or Hulk nearly everyday of the week. Both of them would go insane within the week.

Bulma would join the illuminati.

Krillin would fight Vision for the affections of 18.

Piccolo and Manhunter would share stories and go on a "Green" filled road trip.

Beerus would play chess with Odin proceed to loose then fight Thor to destroy Asgard.

Broly would fight Orion over who was more angry.

Batman would teach Yamcha how to not be lame.

Master Roshi would help Quicksilver score with someone other than his sister.

Kid Buu, Doomsday and Gorr would rampage across the universe. Leaving nothing but a trail of destruction and bodies in their wake.

Cell would try to prove he's more "beautiful" than Wonder Woman.

Superman vs Goku'd finally become a reality..

It would be like star wars, they would never combine the universes cause they make no sense together and would turn off 95% of fans from both groups.

It'd go downhill with huge events every other month.

They would weaken the DBZ characters so there heroes could beat them and probably try and find a way to tie them in somewhere.

Actually I think DBZ characters would fit into a comic setting pretty naturally. DBZ and the Big Two have a LOT of common themes to draw from. Both are heavily influenced by sci fi, both have mystical elements, and both have superhuman fighters trying to save the Earth.

Frieza and his World Trade Organization would fit into the cosmic scene for DC or Marvel like a glove. It actually FEELS like a comicbook story. Insanely powerful alien overlords send out superhuman mutants and warrior races to other planets to wipe out the population, then sell the planets to the highest bidder for their own uses? Seems like business as usual in any given galaxy with highly advanced societies and superhuman aliens.

The androids and Cell also feel very comicbookish when you get right down to it. We're hardly lacking for immensely powerful robots in Marvel or DC, and Cell is basically just a biological AMAZO with a more interesting design. Cell especially would thrive in an environment where he can absorb the DNA from other superhumans aside from the DBZ cast and in a setting where something as vague as "power level" creates a hard barrier you can't surpass with just acquiring new abilities.

... We can leave Buu out of it, though.

Comics would have to be longer to fit in expositional battles.

Then stomp The Avengers with the greatest of ease.

In all seriousness though:

• Most everyone is getting their speed nerfed to Hell. (The Saiyans could keep up with Superman, possibly, but that's about it.)
• Goku is suddenly going to get a limit to how much energy he can gather for the Spirit Bomb.
• Vegeta will likely become a Space Travelor, only appearing when he's needed on Earth--like the Silver Surfer.
• The Humans (Yamcha, Tien, Krillin, etc.) will form a team that could potentially rival The Avengers.
• Piccolo will be more like a Sage/Teacher that some people seek to train them.
• The Great Saiyaman becomes a much bigger part of Gohan's identity as he uses that to protect his identity and his family, followed by The Great Saiyawoman/Saiyaman 2.
• Pan becomes canon and joins The Teen Titans.
• Frieza's entire race gets expanded on with their own series, and with more villains from the race being a thing.
• Dr. Gero never dies. It's almost always an android.
• Among other things.

I've heard many people claim that Pan doesn't exist in canon. Erased from it, along with GT by Battle of Gods.
