What if Galactus invaded the DC Universe ?

Who would be able to slow him down ? What impact would this have ?

I wish I could answer, but I haven't read enough Marvel to know in which ways Galactus was stopped/held-off. DC has it's fair share of geniuses & powerhouses though, so I would bet some sort of plan would work.

He did that already he ate Krypton.

He would get taken down with difficulty but not as much as Marvel usually has. WW, Superman, Martian Manhunter, and most GL's could slow him down. I can see Lex and Bruce building there own Ultimate Nullifiers.

I also think if he happened to cross Krona he'd be killed then and their.

It would actually be a really cool event to see Galactus eat Oa. Reminds me of back in the day when they used Galactus a lot like when he ate the Skrull Throneworld and effectively set in motion the end of Skrull Kree War.

The same thing he does in the Marvel Universe, with a shiny new herald with an S on his chest.

It will be interesting to see how the Gls and JL handle this. And I think the GLC will be more involved than the JL though.

Galactus eats Earth, Galactus eats Oa. Galactus' eats Odym, Galactus eats...you get the drift.

EDIT: The only people who can defeat or even go toe to toe with him can't do to circumstances or won't.

I have a feeling ALL of the Lantern Corps would have a stake in stopping Galactus. There would be attempts at reviving the White Lantern Corps certainly. Superman would be bathing in the Sun for a couple of days to prepare, among other things.

Or they could try to reach the 853rd century Justice League, although, that may prove futile...

Something like this. I was going to say that it would probably end up like a lot of the Crises. All of DC's heroes would team up, and a crapload would die. Then when it looked like all hope was lost, Spectre would show up and save the day.

Although, the Anti-Monitor does present an interesting situation. He may actually fight alongside DC's heroes and be able to stop him before the Spectre ever interferes.

Why must it be a physical beat down? It seems people are posting without reading the previous mentioning of defeating him through brainy/technological methods. (Batman, Luthor, Mr. Teriffic alone could devise something)

Just like Marvel does, it would usually come down to another PIS. give semi-powerful characters a chance to beat a being far beyond them all by somehow having them find a machine that they, with very little research, turns out to be a weapon that can stop him in his tracks. because if they all die the creators are just gonna say it happened in an alternate universe like Marvel.

Maybe Superman will use the miracle machine again to beat everyone again.

Galactus would try to eat Okaara than Larfleeze wouldn't like it and would eat Galactus instead and he will have a new construct to play with.

let's face it people, Batman would lose to a crackhead given the opportunity. Lets see..... an ordinary human with extraordinary abilities vs a guy who can lift mountains or a Kamehameha or even agent 47 with a silenced sniper rifle from a distance......yeah Batman loses. anyway, Superman would trick Galactus into making him a herald boosting his powers like the pic above and attempt to beat him with it.......but I doubt it would work...for if Galactis could boost the abilities of normal people, wouldn't he do the same to himself?

I believe the Spectre could beat Galactus

They would probably make Superman bust his ass.

Spectre easily kills Galactus and heck even Phantom Stranger if he's in a fighting mood.
