@ghostrider88: 70% of the heroes are white. You can't have them all.
Come on, if that was directed at me then that's just ridiculously unfair. Where the hell did you get that from? Its not what I meant, said or even thought. And it's irrelevant to what I did say.
@bluehope: As you can obviously see people on this site overall prefer DC but whatever
Do you? I consider myself a comic fan, not a Marvel fan. But Marvel just happens to be my favorite. I tried getting into DC because I'd prefer to be a fan of both but it just didn't work for me. I tried, I read lots of stuff like the Aquaman Thrones of Atlantis storyline and the Return of Barry Allen. I didn't dig it and it wasn't due to unfamiliarity either, I just don't like their universe, their super heroes, their fantasy. With the exception of Batman who we all know was meant to be a Marvel child ;)
Good Gods, Man, what do you look for in comics?
Meaning what? I didn't say I don't like fantasy universes and super-heroes. Hell that's my favorite part about comic books.. I just said I didn't like theirs. Its nothing they do that is systematically wrong, they basically use the exact same blueprint as Marvel does, they just both have their own versions. Same setup, different ingredients.. I happen to like Marvel's better, that's just my opinion (which is all it really comes down to).
