Could be very interesting.
What do you think about Vin Deisel playing Black Bolt?
I honestly think he's almost perfect. FOR Blackbolt. I wouldn't want him playing anyone else in the MCU except maybe a villianous role.
But playing BB will keep him from talking which is the one thing we don't want. But I don't think there's anyone better to play a quiet badass other than VD.
I think it's good pick, he has the right kind of build and best of all, we dont have to listen to his growly voice or stupid one liners.
Does it really matter who plays a character who won't be speaking the entire film save one or two times?
@fallschirmjager: Actors can still convey meaning. Vin obviously can't.
Am I the only one who thinks Vin is only good in the Riddick movies? Even then his performance isn't overtly good.
He's not a terrible due to his physique choice but there are way better choices imo.

Yes. Black Bolt speaks in his own way, not speaking does not mean anyone can play him. He has certain mannerism, behaviors and expressions that are not so simplistic to just throw any actor on and it would work.

You're woefully overestimating the talent required to play CBC. Most actors who play them are mediocre at best.

Barely spoke as Groot too. I guess he doesn't like to speak.
He certainly has the look and build, but I don't think Disney/MARVEL have any plans to bring the InHumans to the big screen in the forseeable future from what I've been hearing.
Wrong. June, 2019.

I think this is joke clickbait.
They would get a nobody to play Blackbolt.
He says almost nothing, yet would require the actor to still be there, in Groots case you could do the job in 5 minutes.

No, it's legit.
Assuming (with my fingers and toes crossed!) that an Inhumans film gets made, I would love to see VD play Black Bolt. Chris Evans played Johnny Storm and Captain America why couldn't Diesel play two different roles? I think he could bring the presence and body language required to play Black Bolt with out question. I have no idea who they could cast for the rest of the Inhumans but I'm more concerned with if this movie is actually going to be made.
I think there are many younger actors who could look the part with a little gym time. I'd be okay with some odd castings like Alex pettyfer if they were going for younger people. I'd really not prefer diesel anymore than the voice he currently does
@prospero_locke: Pettyfer rocks the look.
@depinhom: Yeah....that's 2004 Deisel, man. (riddick 2 right?)
Fatty needs to start doing some serious crunches to play the superhero role. He got away with it in GotG cause of CGI but there isn't enough touch ups and camera angles you could get to make him look the part as of now.
EDIT: no i see it now....still doesn't help his gut. but i suppose any role that he doesn't talk in isn't at too much risk.
