People who either confuse Marvel and DC or think that there's just 1 company that makes comic books, after watching the Avengers I heard a lot of people saying they liked the movie but "why weren't Batman and Superman in it?"

are you serious?

Yeah, people also wondered why Spider-Man and Wolverine weren't in it but I can't blame them for not knowing that Marvel studios don't own the right's to those 2.

When people don't know the truth and start a false statement.

For example, on a Batman vs Captain America fan film, there was this guy who posted "Batman has no chance of winning here. The super soldier serum made Captain America superhuman, blah blah blah." The sad thing was, that was a top comment.

Stuff like that just get's me PO'ed.

most of the stuff people have pointed out.

@ImmortalOne: technically, Cap could be considered a super human. He is slightly above peak, but not by much. But yeah that doesn't mean Bats can't kick his butt or vice versa

I think what bothers me most about comics is that it's a form of entertainment that not to many people take part in, I hope there will always be enough comic book fans for the genre to survive. Sadly comics have alienated a bunch of different demographics for years. Women feel like they aren't represented enough as well as being portrayed in a way that turns them away from it, minorities feel them same way and I feel like because the industry has spent over 40 years or so pushing one type of character it will be hard in the future to get certain types of people to read comics, which sucks. Of course I can't stand continuity errors and typos and gimmicks and events, and inconsistencies etc. etc. but I think with how weak the writing has gotten these days there are still some diamonds in the rough, so to speak. I think each comic publisher is breaking something to the table that I have to have.

The rising price of comics and the endless cycles of death, resurrection, de-powering of heroes, crossover events and reboots

@Knight_Justice said:

Bothers me the following:

1. When people watch a comic/superhero movie and they think the know everything.

2. Horrible art.

3. Horrible, inept and mediocre writers, editors and artist.

4. Constant reboots.

5. Deaths and Resurrections. Dude stay dead unless you are a really significant and respectable character.

6. Too many crossovers a year and sometimes with too many tie-ins.

7. Fan boys.

8. When they make a comic movie and turns out horrible, like pretty bad.

9. Discrimination against female readers.

10. Ridiculous prices on comics merchandise.

Definitely this!!!

this, to. its so annoying people act like they know everything about batman just because they saw a movie and played Arkham city . And there are other people who hate superman just because superman returns sucked.

What bothers me is a lack of patience, and this sense of entitlement we all have, and the fact that we have a tendency to look at each other funny for liking different things.

^^^ All of the above :p

If I had to pick one; someone who watches a movie then believes they are the ultimate comic book fan and therefore know everything. Even worse, when they get basic things wrong. I.e. Why wasn't Batman in the Avengers/Why didn't they mention Superman?

Evidently, I'm easily annoyed.

Oh, Oh...and when people go watch a comic book movie, then declare they're an utter nerd. Thanks.

I'll stop now.

When they recomend you different stores. Also, when they only buy the big encyclopedia's and are  a genius. And on another occasion are teacher asked us what we would be reeading this summer so I said, "Avengers vs. X-men". Then one kid said I know how that ends they make friends. Then another time this kid who probably only read the cheap comics for 5 year olds said you still read comics. They aren't just stories for kids.

Price. Paying over £10 for a trade of no more than 150 pages is extortionate. Culling together the overall price of the collected issues seems a little unfair.

Also, events with an inordinate amount of tie-in material.
